Kolkata: The Muslim Students Organisation of India (MSO) is going to hold a daylong “Peace Conference” on 20th November at SCM High School ground in Islampore area of Murshidabad district in West Bengal.
The conference will be divided into two parts. While Students Conference for youths and students will be held from 2.30. P.M to 6.00 P.M (20th Nov) the Peace Conference will be in the evening from 9.00 P.M to 4.00 A.M.
“The aim of organizing this Conference is to spread the message of Islam which is Peace for all. The Conference will focus on Sufism which teaches humanity, tolerance, respect towards other communities, Brotherhood and Communal harmony in the country,” said MSO in a statement.
The group hopes that about one lakh people will attend the Conference.
The Peace Conference will endorse the resolution of AIUMB passed at”Muslim Mahapanchayat” held last month in Moradabad of Uttar Pradesh.
According to Advocate Shahnawaz Warsi, National General Secretary, MSO, the Chief Guest of Murshidabad conference will be Allama Ziaul Mustafa Quadri, President, All India Sunni Jamiatul Ulema while Special Guest is Mualana Shoib Raza, Dargah Ala Hazrat Bareilly Shareef. Guest of Honor will be Er. Syed Babar Ashraf, National Secretary, All India Ulema and Mashaikh Board.
