This Petition is created to Stop the proposed vandalism of Green Dome of Medina , Riadul Jannah,Pulpit of Prophet of Islam (Sallallaholaihiwassalam) and three Mosques associated with companions of Holy Prophet Sallallaholaihiwassalam).
The current controversy of the potential Saudi demolition of Riyad-al-Jannah and the graves of Islamic caliphs Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) and Hazrat Omar (RA) is one in a long line of projects that the world’s biggest exporter of crude oil has undertaken to erase Islamic heritage sites.

As per the News Reports published worldwide that Saudi Govt. has inaugurated a Plan to expand Masjid-e-Nabwi on 25th Oct 2012.Millions of Muslims the World are aghast and are in deep sorrow to know that three Mosques of Companions of Holy Prophet (Peace and blessing upon him) ,Riadul Jannah, Green Dome and Pulpit of Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings upon him) faces threat of demolition in this expansion.
Holy Medina City is recognized by green dome and Prophet’s (Peace and blessing upon him) Holy Grave so it is natural that any attempt to change the character of any of these will make Muslim of the world worry. It is also sad to know that despite several authentic News Reports and regular inquiries, Govt. of Saudi Arabia has not issued any Public statement in this regard.
Therefore the Muslim Community , put forward following demands to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that

(1) Saudi authorities should come out in the Media and ensure all Muslims of the world that the Green Dome of prophet Mohammad (Peace and blessings upon him) will be preserved at all costs.
(2) The Riyadh al Jannah area and the current Musallah of the Imam (Prayer Leader) should also be preserved.
(3) The three mosques, now proposed to be demolished in the western side expansion should not be touched.
(4) The expansion should be done in the northern side so that the current place of the Dome, Riyadh al-Jannah and Imam’s Musallah are not touched.

If the Govt. of Saudi Arabia did not come out in open to reply all these genuine points, then Majority of Muslims will be forced to Protest and rise against this Plan.

Initiated in the Chishti Sufi order, I find Ajmer to be the kaabah of my heart. On the 6th of Rajab, June 9 (the seventh Islamic month), I look forward to participating in the 799th Urs festivities of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz. Along with hundreds of thousands of devotees, I queue for long hours to touch the threshold, usually getting my chance in the middle of the night.

Musicians come to seek the blessings of Khwaja because the beginnings of Sufi music assemblies are attributed to him. Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan attributed his success to Khwaja’s benevolence and so does A.R. Rahman. Innumerable qawwal groups of the subcontinent arrive at the dargah to sing praises of Khwaja: “Baruti mehfil shahana mubarak bashad, saqia badao paimana mubarak basahad, ilahi ta abd astana-e-yar rahe, yeh asra hai gharibon ka barqarar rahe…”

(Felicitation to thee for this blessed majestic assembly, O wine pourer, felicitations on your goblet of sacred wine. Oh God, may this threshold of the beloved exist for ever, may this refuge of the poor remain for ever…)

The Chishti Sufi order derives its name from Chisht, a small town near Herat, Afghanistan. Khwaja Abu Ishaq Shami of Damascus established the Sufi order in Chisht where many of his spiritual successors lie buried. He mentored Khwaja Usman who came from Herwan, a town in Iran. On initiating him as a disciple, Hajji Sharif Zindani placed a four-edged cap on Khwaja Usman’s head explaining, “First is the renunciation of the world, second the renunciation of the Hereafter. Third, renunciation of the self and lastly, the renunciation of all else other than God”.

Khwaja Usman lived in the company of his Master for 30 years and died in the holy city of Mecca. The Chishti order gained popularity through the teachings of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. An outstanding figure in the history of Islamic mysticism. Drawn to mystics from early childhood, the quest for knowledge took Khwaja to centres of learning in Samaqand and Bukhara. Khwaja was bestowed with the title of “Gharib Nawaz”, Patron of the poor, in Medina. It was there that he received a spiritual inspiration to settle down in the Indian town of Ajmer. Khwaja laid down the founding principles for the Chishti order: “Develop river-like generosity, sun-like bounty and earth-like hospitality”. Gharib Nawaz stressed renouncing wealth, encouraging self-discipline and prayer. He preached tolerance, advocating respect for all religions. Khwaja’s inclusive message of peace and brotherhood brought hundreds of thousands to the fold of Islam. The Chishti order produced great Sufi masters, including Qutubuddin Bakhtiar Kaki, Baba Farid, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, Naseeruddin Chiragh Dilli and Alauddin Sabir of Kaliyar. The Nizami and Sabri orders are among the numerous branches of the Chishti order. The Ajmer dargah, considered the most sacred in South Asia, attracts pilgrims from different religious and economic backgrounds in the quest of the Sufi master’s blessings.

Sunnis demands Protection of Sufi Shrines in Pakistan

Various Muslim Organization Including Raza Academy,Jamiat-e-Ahle Sunnat Jammu and Kashmir,Idara Tehqiqat-e-Imam Ahmed Raza Kasmir,All India Ulema Mashaikh Baord ,All India Sunni Jamiatul Ulema,and MSO of India have condemns the ghastly attack on the Dargah of Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar Dera Ghazi Khan.Leadrs have expressed grave concerns over the contionus attacks on Innocent Muslims at Sufi Shrines in different parts of the world.
Muslim Students Organization of India MSO Condemns in highest terms the inhuman and cowardly attack on the Dargah of Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar R.A at Dera Ghazi Khan ,Pakistan by the hands of Tehreek-e-Taliban ,which once again proves that Pakistani Government has no control whatsoever on the terrorists targeting Innocents and Peace loving citizens of its country.The Pak govt must ensure the safety and security of Sufi Institutions and Personalities associated with Sufi Movements and it must take hard steps to punish the Talibani culprits.MSO also make demands from Indian Prime minister Mr. Manmohan Singh to talk to his counter parts to raise this Issue so that Safety and dignity of Sufi Shrines and Personalities may be Protected.

MSO National President Syed Muhmaad Qaudri while expressing grief and sorrow over the Shahadat of at least 50 Innocents Zayreen and injury to more than 100 at Dargah attack , said that the brand of religion Taliban follows has been created by Jews and Britishers to create divide in the muslim community in the name of Islam .He said that a fight has been started everywhere between local Muslim community and between the propagators of Talibani brand religion .Wherever this religion of Taliban has been spread in the name of Islam ,Muslim Community is standing against them, it may be Pakistan, Afghanistan,Somalia,Egypt,Palestine or Caucacus region etc.The whole game of violence is just to Capture and rule territories by misusing the name of Islam.

Shujaat Ali Qaudri National Secretary of MSO said that by killing and targeting the Muslims they are going to achieve nothing rather the faith and belief of Muslims in the Sufism will be more stronger after each and every such attack.We calls upon all the Indian Muslims to spread awareness about this dangerous terrorist movement in the country.These Talibanis are nothing but bunch of thugs and Dacaits dividing and killing Muslims.

Egypt:Salafi/Wahabis destroying Sufi Shrines

Leaders and followers of the Sufi orders have threatened to launch a Sufi war on those responsible for the demolition of shrines belonging to the family of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH), describing themselves as soldiers of God charged with defending these shrines and tombs.Some followers of Sufism have recently accused Salafi Muslims of attacking and destroying shrines belonging to Sufi clerics in various parts of Egypt, including Alexandria, Beheira and Monufiya. During a protest organized by the Supreme Council for Sufi Orders in the Hussein Mosque Square on Tuesday evening, the Sufi followers called on the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) to denounce the demolition of the shrines. They also threatened to prevent Salafis from entering the shrines belonging to the family of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH). The Sufi’s also called on all Sufi disciples to unite in order to put a stop to what they described as “Salafi thuggery” at the shrines, as well as the formation of Sufi committees around all shrines to protect them. During the protest, a number of signs were raised such as “No to the demolition of shrines” and “We call on the Egyptian government and the SCAF to protect the holy places and the Islamic identity of Egypt.” Meanwhile, a number of Sufi disciples attempted to lead a protest outside the Square. However, the were stopped by leaders of the Rifai Sufi Order, who instructed them not to leave the Square in order to prevent the disruption of traffic on Azhar Street. The protest was joined by a number of leaders of the Shia community in Egypt, headed by Shia leader of Egypt Mohamed al-Derini, as well as by heads of the Syndicate of al-Ashraf. Al-Derini said he had come to join the Sufi order in their million man march against the ongoing assault from Salafi Wahhabism, which he said shows no respect for other beliefs or religions.
