Ala Hazrat Urs 2013-14

Born on 14th June, 1856 in the Bareilly city ,the great scholar was given the reverential title of Ala Hazrt-the great wise man. Ahmed Raza Khan wrote on numerous topics, including law, religion, philosophy and the sciences. He was a prolific writer, producing nearly 1,000 works in his lifetime, writing almost on all issues and covering all matters ,he influenced the Muslim masses. He worked to protect the traditional Islam which is attached to Sufism in South Asia and was facing challenge from the changing atmosphere of Islamic world after the establishment Salafi-Wahabi government in the Saudi Arabia.

Ahmed Raza Khan translated the Quran into Urdu, which was first published in 1912 under the title of Kanz ul-Iman a most popular translation of the Holy Quran. One of the finest books written by him is Fatawa Radhvia. It comprises over 12000 pages in 12 volumes. It provides authoritative solutions to thousands of religious and secular problems faced by the Muslims in day-to-day life. All his disciples and followers spread his movement named as Ahle Sunnat Movement which has largest following estimated to up to 2/3 majority of all south Asian Muslims by various sources and institutions across south Asia including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan Nepal, Sri Lanka and in many African and European countries.

The movement is considered a peaceful movement keeping itself largely separated from extremist and terrorist organizations. Its indifferent attitude towards these organizations, their extremist ideologies have made followers of this movement itself victim of the extremist organizations. In Pakistan the movement has lost its major leaders most prominent among them are Mufti Sarafaraz Naeemi of Jamia Naeemia who had issued verdict against Tehreek-e-Taliban and Saleem Qadri ,leader of Sunni Tehreek who was working for the recapturing of Sunni Mosques. In India and many parts of the world movement has raised its strong voice against Terrorism and Extremism.

In this Urs or Death anniversary Chief Sunni Mufti Akhtar Rida Khan Qadri Azhari Mian and Custodian of Dargah Ala Hazrat Maulana Subhanraza Khan Subhani Mian will address the gathering of five lacs of Sunni Muslims of the country. Many prominent Islamic Scholars specially from Arab world and Europe have already reached in the city which is being decorated in a very beautiful manner.

While Gandhi has been sending the ‘chadar’ every year, this was the first time that Rahul was also present when the Congress chief presented the ‘chadar’ to the delegation.

Main body of the Dargah which was established by the Ala Hazrat himself , All India Jamat-e-Raza-e-Mustafa has shown anger towards neglect and humiliation of riot victims. It is raising the demand of seedy justice and proper rehabilitation of Muzzafar Nagar riot victims , Passing of communal violence Bill and Muslim reservation, Taslima Nasreen issue.

Hindi and Urdu News papers have published special supplements to celebrate the Urs while many Muslim organizations and publication houses have put their camps and stalls in the ground of Islamia Inter college and on connecting roads .Special arrangements for Buses and Trains have been made by their respective departments. On the final day of the Urs on Monday huge gathering is expected in which various Muslim issues and problems will be discussed by custodian Subhan Raza Khan Subhani Mian. – See more at: http://www.msoofindia.net/2013/12/urs-e-ala-hazrat-imam-ahmed-raza-khan.html#sthash.efkqB2fn.dpuf

Eid 2013:British Prime Minister David Cameron visited Muslim Community and met Allama Qamaruzzaman Khan

10 Aug david cameroon

Manchester:

The Prime Minister David Cameron along with Faiths Minister Baroness Sayeeda Warsi met Hazrat Allama Qamaruzzaman Azmi ,a prominent Sunni Sufi leader, during a historic visit to North Manchester Jamia Mosque. Hazrat Allama Qamaruzzaman Azmi discussed the current issues and challenges facing the world including, the plight of Rohingya Muslims in Burma, Syrian crisis as well as the safety and security of Mosques and Muslim communities in the UK.

David Cameron spent two hours with the mosque community during his visit and stated his support for the Big Iftar programme, which has seen scores of mosques up and down the country open up their doors to Muslims and non-Muslims to demystify the faith of Islam and connect to communities. After a tour of the mosque he helped them prepare for their own Big Iftar by chopping onions and making samosas, providing his own cooking tips along the way. The Prime Minister was impressed by the vibrancy of the mosque, which is set for redevelopment to cater for an ever-growing community.

Allama Qamaruzzaman Azmi said: “I thank the Prime Minister for taking time out from his busy schedule to come and meet with the British Muslim community in Manchester”.“During his landmark visit he championed the contributions that British Muslims are making in all walks of life and listened to some of the real concerns that the community are facing”, he said.

Following this meeting the Prime Minister and Faiths Minister Baroness Warsi took a tour of the Mosque which caters for 2,000 people through daily worship, after-school clubs, youth projects and support groups and had a frank and open discussion with a mixed group of young and old people where Mr Cameron heard the concerns of Muslims about attacks on their community following the horrific murder of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich. He restated the commitment of the UK government to tackling anti-Muslim hatred and condemned the recent Islamophobic attacks in the strongest possible terms, saying the UK needed to be intolerant of intolerance. His government has set up a cross government working group on anti-Muslim hatred and fund an organisation, Tell MAMA, which records attacks and supports victims.

Faiths Minister Baroness Warsi said: “It was brilliant to accompany the Prime Minister to the Jamia Mosque and help them prepare for their Big Iftar that evening.

David Cameron ,British P.M with Allama Qamaruzzaman Khan Azmi

“Jamia Mosque is a fantastic example of a model Mosque that reaches out to its community, providing vital services to the local Muslim population. “The Prime Minister was given a fantastic opportunity to see this vibrant Mosque in action. He also spoke at length to the Mosque members about their concerns over the recent anti-Muslim attacks and was able to reassure them of this government’s unwavering commitment to tackle and stamp out this unacceptable form of hatred”, she said.

In wishing Muslims in the UK and around the world Eid Mubarak the Prime Minister

said: “I send my warmest wishes to Muslims in the UK and overseas as they celebrate the festival of Eid-al-Fitr. After a month of longer summer days fasting, praying and putting aside many of the things that we can take for granted, Muslims will come together with friends and family to celebrate this joyous occasion. I wish you all Eid Mubarak”

Mumbai terror attack was faked?

16 Jul fake mumbai attack

An Indian home ministry former officer has disclosed that a member of the secret service team had accused incumbent governments of ‘orchestrating’ the terror attack on Parliament and the 26/11 carnage in Mumbai.
The former Indian investigator Satish Verma has said that India itself was behind Parliament in Delhi and Mumbai terror attacks.
According to Indian media‚ the fake encounter case involving a senior officer Under-Secretary of Interior Ministry Ishrat Jahan has submitted an affidavit in the court stating that a member of CBI and SIC investigation team Satish Verma told him that in the terrorists attacks on Parliament in Delhi and Mumbai terror attacks were pre-planned.
A key government official, R V S Mani said that Satish Verma, until recently a part of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe team, told him that both the terror attacks were set up “with the objective of strengthening the counter-terror legislation (sic).
Mani has said that Verma narrated that the 13.12. 2001(attack on Parliament) was followed by Pota (Prevention of Terrorist Activities Act) and 26/11 2008 (terrorists’ siege of Mumbai) was followed by amendment to the UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act).
The official has alleged Verma levelled the damaging charge while debunking IB’s inputs labelling the three killed with Ishrat in the June 2004 encounter as Lashkar terrorists.
Contacted by Times of India, Verma refused to comment. “I don’t know what the complaint is, made when and to whom. Nor am I interested in knowing. I cannot speak to the media on such matters. Ask the CBI,” said the Gujarat cadre IPS officer who after being relieved from the SIT is working as principal of the Junagadh Police Training College.
The attacks were launched to strengthen the anti-terrorism laws.
It may be recalled that India had accused Pakistan of its involvement in both of the attacks and started a propaganda campaign maligning Pakistan based organizations and its agencies for the attacks.
Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kasab have already been hanged by Indian government in parliament and 26/11 cases respectively.

One in 10 people under 25 are Muslim, while Christianity is in decline, the 2011 UK census reveals. An explosion in the Muslim population and an aging Christian demographic could mean Islam will be the dominant religion in the UK in 10 years.

A new analysis of the 2011 census by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed that the number of Christians was falling 50 per cent faster than had previously been thought. Earlier analysis of the statistics showed only a 15 per cent decline, but the ONS found that this figure had been beefed up by 1.2 million foreign-born Christians.

Furthermore, the re-analysis showed that the majority of Christians were over the age of 60 and for the first time less than half of young people describe themselves as Christian. As a result the ONS has calculated that in a decade only a minority will classify themselves as Christians in England. Christianity is still the dominant religion in the UK with over 50 per cent of the population regarding themselves as believers.

However, this may be set to change as the British Muslim population has surged dramatically over the past 15 years, increasing by 75 per cent in England and Wales. The 2011 census puts the Muslim population of the UK at around 5 per cent, a total that has been boosted by around 600,000 Muslim immigrants who have arrived in the UK over the past decade.

Keith Porteous Wood, executive director of the National Secular Society, said to UK daily the Telegraph that the decline of Christianity is

“inevitable.” “In another 20 years there are going to be more active Muslims than there are churchgoers,” he said.

Moreover the number of people identifying themselves as atheists has increased by 10 per cent, rising from 15 per cent to 25 per cent. The change has been dubbed as a “significant cultural shift” by the British Humanist Association, while the Church of England has shrugged off the statistics, maintaining they still retain a strong base of believers.

“While this is a challenge, the fact that six out of 10 people in England and Wales self-identify as Christians is not discouraging. Christianity is no longer a religion of culture but a religion of decision and commitment. People are making a positive choice in self-identifying as Christians,” said a spokesperson for the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales told press in December.

In addition the census registered an increase in followers of Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism and Judaism.

‘Sleepwalking into segregation’

The rising number of immigrants and different ethnicities in the UK has given rise to increasing levels of segregation. Think tank ‘Demos’ has labeled the phenomenon ‘white flight’, citing the falling number of ethnic whites in areas where they are minorities.

Demos’ investigation revealed that new ethnic minorities like Somalis where moving into areas where older most established ethnic populations like Afro-Caribbeans had previously been dominant.

The population of London is indicative of the change in the British demographic with 600,000 white Londoners moving out of the capital in the past decade. In spite of the fact that the British capital’s population has grown by more than a million, the number of white British residents has decreased from 4.3 million to 3.7 million.

“We do have an integration problem,” said Demos director David Goodhart to RT. The

“changing ethnic composition” of the British capital is causing a large exodus of ethnic white out of the city, he added.

Goodhart went on to say that the problem of integration was not confined to Great Britain and is prevalent all around the EU despite attempts to eradicate segregation.

“Part of the point of the euro was to disperse German power and prevent the rise of nationalism in Europe, but it has done precisely the opposite on both fronts. We now have serious national resentments in countries like Greece,” he stressed.

Trevor Phillips, the former chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission warned that the statistics did not spell good news for integration in the UK and warned the country was

Indian Muslim Youths Protested against Israel: MSO supported Palestine

23 Nov

Jaipur 23rd Nov’12 Friday from 3-4 P.M

In Solidarity with Palestinian People, Muslim Students Organization of India MSO, an apex body of Muslim Youths and students organized Protest March against Israel on 23rd Nov 2012 at Jaipur, India. March route was from Government Hostel near Commissioner Office upto Udhyog Maidan Statute Circle.

Muslim Students Organization of India National Secretary Engineer Shujaat Ali Quadri said that MSO condemns in harshest terms, the Israeli attack against the people of Palestine. Israel started this War when it broke truce by assassinating the Hamas leader Ahmad Jabri who was working on a long-term truce with Israel.

As ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has come into effect so MSO is of the view that Turkey, Iran and Egypt can play a positive role by permanently bringing an end to this problem. MSO lauds the efforts of all those nations who are working for truce. At the same time, MSO criticize Saudi Arabian government for silently supporting Israeli aggression by not speaking against it or by not exerting pressure on it. So called Champions of Human Rights and main stream Media raised their voice against and reacted sharply to the attack on a single girl Malala Yousuf Zai but they have maintained criminal silence over Israeli aggression against the innocent Palestine people.

We are of the view that by reiterating its earlier solidarity with Palestine, India has supported a cause of Humanity but to be really moral leader of the Third World and Non-Aligned Movement, It must raise a strong voice against the Israeli aggression.

MSO declare their full and unconditional support to our Palestinian brothers and sisters, and laud their brave resistance against the aggression of the Israeli oppressors.

Saudi Government and King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz: Stop Bulldozing historic Holy sites in Medina

Petition by

New Delhi 4th Nov 2012

This Petition is created to Stop the proposed vandalism of Green Dome of Medina , Riadul Jannah,Pulpit of Prophet of Islam (Sallallaholaihiwassalam) and three Mosques associated with companions of Holy Prophet Sallallaholaihiwassalam).
The current controversy of the potential Saudi demolition of Riyad-al-Jannah and the graves of Islamic caliphs Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) and Hazrat Omar (RA) is one in a long line of projects that the world’s biggest exporter of crude oil has undertaken to erase Islamic heritage sites.

To,

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Through
1. Mr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Saty
Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, New Delhi

2. Mr. Abdullah Bin Sulaiman Al-Essa –
Consul-General, Mumbai
Sir,
As per the News Reports published worldwide that Saudi Govt. has inaugurated a Plan to expand Masjid-e-Nabwi on 25th Oct 2012.Millions of Muslims the World are aghast and are in deep sorrow to know that three Mosques of Companions of Holy Prophet (Peace and blessing upon him) ,Riadul Jannah, Green Dome and Pulpit of Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings upon him) faces threat of demolition in this expansion.
Holy Medina City is recognized by green dome and Prophet’s (Peace and blessing upon him) Holy Grave so it is natural that any attempt to change the character of any of these will make Muslim of the world worry. It is also sad to know that despite several authentic News Reports and regular inquiries, Govt. of Saudi Arabia has not issued any Public statement in this regard.
Therefore the Muslim Community , put forward following demands to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that

(1) Saudi authorities should come out in the Media and ensure all Muslims of the world that the Green Dome of prophet Mohammad (Peace and blessings upon him) will be preserved at all costs.
(2) The Riyadh al Jannah area and the current Musallah of the Imam (Prayer Leader) should also be preserved.
(3) The three mosques, now proposed to be demolished in the western side expansion should not be touched.
(4) The expansion should be done in the northern side so that the current place of the Dome, Riyadh al-Jannah and Imam’s Musallah are not touched.

If the Govt. of Saudi Arabia did not come out in open to reply all these genuine points, then Majority of Muslims will be forced to Protest and rise against this Plan.
