Muslims around the country observed 93rd death anniversary of their leader Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza Khan.Several thousands also came from outside country to attend the ceremony at dargah Ala Hazrat at bareilly city of Uttar pradesh.

Hazrat Akhtar Raza Khan Azhari Mian and Hazrat Subhan raza Khan Subhani Mian presided three day long Urs ceremony at Jamiaturaza and at Islamia Inter Colege field respectively.At least 10 lac Muslims attended the gathering and offered fateha and join Dua on last day of the celebration on 20th jan 2012 .

Sunni Leaders around the country spoke extensively about the contribution of this great Mujaddid and his pious son hazrat Mufti -e-Azam (R.A).

UP elections: AIUMB vows to “crush” candidates with Deobandi background

New Delhi: A group which was till now religious, is turning political before UP elections. The All India Ulema Mashaikh Board (AIUMB), a body of Barelwi-Sunni Muslims, has taken its opposition of Deobandi ideology to politics and has decided to oppose, all the candidates with Deobandi background in the UP elections.

In fact, if you go by what Babar Ashraf, its national secretary has to say, it seems that the Barelwi group has invoked an all out electoral war against parties which have fielded candidates who owe their allegiance to Deoband school of thought. If this happens, which is yet to be seen, then it will be the first time in the electoral history of the country that Muslim votes will be divided on sectarian/ideological lines of Deobandi ideology as opposed to Barelwi sect.

The All-India Ulama & Mashaikh Board (AIUMB), a Sunni Sufi sect that recently courted controversy with its call to purge Indian Islam of Wahabi influence, has appealed to voters in the upcoming State elections to vote only those candidates “who are secular and have a clean image irrespective of their party affiliations.”

The AIUMB, which claims to represent the vast majority of Indian Muslims, said: “The vote should be given on the basis of the candidates’ personal profile, their support for the educational, social and economic uplift of the community and their role in establishing peace and communal harmony.”

At a press conference here, Syed Babar Ashraf, national secretary of the AIUMB, emphasised the need to promote the Sufi ideology of peace and harmony and asked the government to immediately enact a Dargah Act in order to manage the affairs of Dargahs and help them propagate the inclusive Sufi practices. Other issues flagged by the AIUMB included: establishment of the Delhi Madrasa Board and nomination of Sufi Sunni Muslims and Christians on the Board; dissolution of the Delhi Waqf Board and steps to prevent the appointment of persons following the Wahabi ideology; and initiation of prayers in mosques maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

The AIUMB argued that the majority of Waqf properties and mosques under the ASI belonged to Sufi Sunni Muslims as there was no Deobandi or Wahabi ideology 150 years ago.

Salman Rushdie’s arrival agitated Indian Muslims

Controversial author Salman Rushdie who has caused a lot of pain and anger in Muslim world by his evil writings, is once again coming to India to attend a literary festival in Jaipur Rajasthan .The literary festival  will be held at Jaipur from 21st Jan 2012  .

Muslim organisations are agitated and have demanded cancellation of his Visa.

All India Ulema and Mashaikh Board,Raza Academy,MSO of India have threatened to protest if his visa is not cancelled.MSO Jaipur State organised a protest meeting in Jaipur yesterday on 9th Jan 2012 under the patronship of Chief Mufti of Jaipur Muhammad Abdulssattar Razwi.Syed Muhammad Qaudri National President of MSO said ,” Indian govt . must respect the feelings of Indian Muslims and why this person is so important for them that he got Visa again and again”.

Several Scholars around the world have issued verdict against his Kufria Book,”The Satanic” verses in which he insulted beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallallaholaihiwasalam .

The incoherence of the mesmerized

Hujjut-ul Islam Imam al Ghazali (radi Allahu anh) wrote the Incoherence of the philosophers during a time of great confusion, where Muslims were presented with conflicting versions of Islam. I won’t go into too much detail regarding that period in history, but just want to mention parallels between his time and ours. Imam al Ghazali (radi Allahu anh) articulately, and successfully, defended the articles of faith against a tide of philosophical thinking that was based on incorrect and unscrupulous sets of thinking. Today, we have two camps who are challenging the orthodox traditions.

First are the liberals, who tend to avoid or shun certain religious practices and beliefs that do not fit within their pre-conceptualised secularist mindset. They support the western versions democracy, freedom, equality, etc.

Secondly, we have the Salafis/fundamentalists. They see everything in black and white. To them there is no compromise; no areas of discussion; no grey area. They do not tolerate much that does not fit within their framework of thought.

I want to ask these people a question. What do you make of this video?

If you do not feel sick after watching this, then shame on you. How much are we willing to sacrifice for so called freedom and democracy? What sort of Muslim, forget that; what sort of human being vandalises the grave of a deceased?

Go ahead and have your party. But remember, reality dictates that awareness of injustice is fruitless without sound grounding. Without the real understanding and application of Islam, nothing truly tangible will be achieved.

As a brother on a forum said, “some people ask why Sunnis cannot make peace and truce with Salafis…. here in this simple video is your answer”.

If you want to see real politics, then have a read of the this. We are nowhere near the standard of Sayyiduna Umar bin Abdul Aziz (radi Allahu anh).

Srinagar, Mar 04, KONS: The annual urs of Hazrat Peer Dastgeer Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) began here on Saturday with heavy gatherings and special prayers at the saint’s shrine downtown Srinagar.

The fortnight-long observance will be marked by round-the-clock devotional services interspersed with obligatory prayers attended by tens of thousands of the saint’s devotees from all over Kashmir.

Shrines and mosques housing the saint’s sacred keepsakes in other parts of the valley too will observe the occasion.

The government has made adequate arrangements for medical assistance for the pilgrims, and taken elaborate measures to provide transportation, water supply and power during the fortnight.

Al Sudais Imam-e-Haram visit to India and Sunni response

The Representatives of majority  sunni muslims ,Raza Academy,All India Ulema Mashiakh Board,MSO of India ,Jamat Raza e Mustafa etc have demanded clarification from the Imam of Wahabi Saltanat to express his opinion on the treaty made between Indian Muslim leaders and between saudi Kingdon in 1925 .In which Saudi king Abdul Azeez had Promised to gave back the control of Haramain  Sharaifain  i.e of Makkah,Madina and Taif (Hijaz ) to the united body of world muslim leaders and that they will return to Najd territory after the establishment of Peace but this treaty has not been followed and performed till now so Muhmaad Saeed Noori of Raza Academy,Maulana Yaseen Akhtar Misbahi of Darul qalam Delhi,Muhamad Ahmed Naeemi of AIUMB,Shahnawaz warsi of MSO have asked Imam to convey the message of Indian Muslims to Saudi king Abdullah.

We also support the views expressed by Mohtarma Sadia Dehlavi in Times of India (below) and would like to tell that Imam does not represents the Sunni Muslims of the world and he is not our leader.

Keeping the inclusive faith

Imam Al Sudais’s India visit to lecture at the Deoband seminary is sending some sections of the Muslim community into overdrive. I received a card from the India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) in Delhi to attend an address by ‘His Holiness’, Imam-e-Haram, Dr Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, presently imam of the mosque in Mecca. The accompanying letter details the imam’s achievements including his educational degrees in sharia law. In 2005, he received ‘The Islamic Personality of the Year’ award and stood nominated for the Dubai International Quran Award, which he accepted. 

The ‘His Holiness’ came as a jolt, for no such prefixes have ever been added to Prophet Muhammad’s name or that of his companions, who rank the highest in Muslim piety. As one devoted to Islam, i believe using the Quran to name an award belittles the sanctity of God’s word and borders on blasphemy. Legitimising such an award by its acceptance seems a worse action. The early history of Islam contains no examples of spiritual or religious leaders accepting state or private awards. On the contrary, sharia and prophetic traditions frown upon those who seek or allow public adulation, for all righteous deeds are for God alone.

The Deoband leadership has requested that Al Sudais not be frisked during his visit to Parliament. Due respect must be accorded to the visiting imam, because he leads the prayers at the Kaabah. This reverence flows from ‘where’ the prayers are led and not because of ‘who’ the imam is. To quote Arshad Madani of the Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Hind, “Sheikh Al Sudais is the highest religious leader of the Muslims”. This is misleading because Al Sudais merely represents the highest-ranking sacred space. The worldwide Muslim majority does not subscribe to the radical Wahhabi ideology propagated by Saudi clerics.

This political, narrow, legalistic and literalist interpretation of Islam emerged from the desert wastelands of Najd in Saudi Arabia from among the followers of the Bedouin Abdul Wahhab, an 18th century self-claimed reformist. The trajectory of the Wahhabi movement is rooted in violence, legitimising jihad as an armed conflict to kill fellow Muslims in disagreement with their vision of Islam by declaring them kafirs, infidels. Related to the ruling family through matrimonial alliances, Abdul Wahhab’s family continues to control the ministry of religion, quashing many reforms desired by the political leadership, particularly by the present moderate King Abdullah.

The Wahhabis, who call themselves ‘Salafis’, have a limited following in the subcontinent. It includes the Deoband seminary, Tablighi Jamaat, Ahle Hadith and the Jamaat-e-Islami in Pakistan. Together, they constitute not more than 15 to 20% of the total population. Unfortunately, the government and the public fall prey to media-driven stereotypes. The perceptions of these factions representing majority Muslim opinion are baseless. Muslims are not monolithic communities but adhere to varied interpretations of Islam. In India and Pakistan, the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat represented by the Barelvi creed has the largest following.

Saudi clerics, including Al Sudais, face international criticism for inciting passions against the Barelvis, Shias, other Muslim minorities and non-Muslims. The Saudi state outsources its Wahhabi ideology by spending billions of dollars in patronising the building and running of mosques, madrassas, journals and cleric training programmes. It remains the fountainhead of the extremism infiltrating Muslim communities, tearing their local cultures apart. The bombing of dargahs and Shia mosques in Pakistan is one such manifestation.

The Saudi state has robbed all Muslims in the world of their legitimate cultural, historical and spiritual legacy, both in the physical and spiritual realm. In 1925, despite global outrage, all mausoleums including those of the Prophet’s family at Jannat-ul Maali and Jannat-ul Baqi, the sacred graveyards of Mecca and Medina, were demolished. Once reflecting Islamic glory and heritage, the bulldozed compounds are now typical Wahhabi burial grounds with rows of featureless unmarked graves. Several other historical sites continue to be obliterated.

Throughout history, Sufis and their disciples from different parts of the globe inhabited Mecca and Medina, the first centres of spiritual Islam. Now, the constant patrolling by the mutawwah, the religious police, ensures that pilgrims do not participate in collective spiritual gatherings. Forced to follow Wahhabi practices, devotees in Medina are not allowed to face the Prophet’s chamber in supplication. Women face severe restrictions of time and space at the sacred mosques. It is decreed sinful and therefore criminal to write, read, sing or listen to ‘naat’, poetic praise, of the Prophet. Enforcements have washed away these traditions commonplace during Prophet Muhammad’s life. Thirty-five among the Prophet’s poet companions composed ‘naat’, Hassan ibn Thabit being his favourite.

The aims and objective of the IICC is to preserve and promote the composite and inclusive cultural traditions of Indian Muslims. Since its inception, the Centre has been trying to decode which cultural activities are sharia compliant and those that are not. Therefore, it is ironic and worrying that the IICC is one of the venues for the imam’s address. I hope Al Sudais’s discourse triggers a genuine and long overdue intra-faith dialogue amongst Indian Muslims as to what the rightful traditions of Islam are.

In a shocking display of heedlessness about the dangers of radical Islam, India has allowed the hate-mongering Saudi imam and Friday preacher at the Grand Mosque (Haram) in Mecca, Abdur-Rahman Al-Sudais, to schedule a journey to the country beginning Friday, 25 March.

Al-Sudais, a prominent exponent of the hard-core Wahhabi ideology, will visit the extremist centre at Darul Uloom Deoband in U.P. Al-Sudais is then planning trips to New Delhi, including a dinner in his honour in the annexe of the Indian parliament, and to Old Delhi, preaching and leading prayer in both cities.

Citizens of India, Muslim as well as non-Muslim, should have no illusions about the intent of Al-Sudais’ tour. He represents the Wahhabi apparatus that holds Muslims and non-Muslims under Saudi rule in a fatal grip of intimidation and enforced conformity, and its alliance with the Deobandi element and the deviant doctrines that produced the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban.

When the leading Saudi Wahhabi visits Darul Uloom Deoband, a pact between inspirers of terrorism is affirmed and, in effect, a summit between apologists for bloodshed is advertised. Large numbers of Deobandi adherents are expected to flock to the event, clogging roads and otherwise disrupting life in U.P., which has previously suffered conflict between fundamentalist and traditionalist Muslims.

The arrival of Al-Sudais as the first-ever imam of the Haram to come to India is intended unarguably to impress Indian Muslims with the alleged stability of Saudi Wahhabism and the firmness of its solidarity with Deobandism.

The ‘moderate’ Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (JUH) has requested that when he goes to the parliament, Al-Sudais be spared a security examination. In an absurd claim, Al-Sudais has been designated by JUH as the supreme world authority for Sunni believers and therefore above the supposed indignity of a security check.

But every aspect of Al-Sudais and his career bespeak his distance from ordinary Muslims: Al-Sudais will reportedly land at Darul Uloom in a helicopter. The authority of this upstart rests upon usurpation of beloved Mecca and backing for Saudi injustices against Islam, the people of the Arabian peninsula, and the world.

A security examination for explosives would not, one must admit, detect the most destructive product of Al-Sudais and his peers: the Wahhabism he learned at the Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, known to Saudis as ‘the terrorist factory’.

JUH has alleged that Al-Sudais will appear in India as an acolyte of interreligious harmony, but JUH leader Arshad Madani, who arranged invitation of the Saudi cleric, boasted that Al-Sudais would be shown how Wahhabi, Deobandi, and other retrograde interpretations of Islam are ‘flourishing’ in the country.

India, along with Pakistan and Bangladesh, and the South Asian Muslim communities in the UK and U.S., have been targeted by Wahhabis and Deobandis for both recruitment to and commission of terrorism.

Al-Sudais has been barred from Canada and criticised by Saudi officials for his hateful commentaries. Credibility about his claims of inter-faith dialogue remain questionable so long as he represents the official Wahhabi clerics in the Saudi kingdom.

One one side, Al-Sudais serves a legacy of prejudicial and narrow-minded actions by the Wahhabi ulema. The latter shield the radicals in the Saudi regime who are continuing two centuries’ recent history of vandalism against the Islamic heritage of Arabia, and committing other offences against the conscience and consciousness of the Islamic umma.

With the complicity of Al-Sudais, Wahhabi hard-liners seek new restrictions on the conduct of the hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, including proposals for segregation and compulsory face-covering of women during hajj, that had never before been prevalent within the Islamic umma.

In addition, Al-Sudais supports the anti-Islamic, anti-historical, and anti-cultural plan for the transformation of Mecca, the holiest city of the Muslims, into a cluster of Las Vegas-style high-rise buildings and similar structures.

These gigantic, architecturally inferior projects will dwarf and belittle the sanctity of the Haram and the Ka’bah, which Al-Sudais is supposed to administer. Instead, he participates in selling it off, or destroying it, bit by bit. Such are the perverse ways of the Wahhabis.

Parallel with them, the Deobandi clerics enable terrorist attacks against Sufi shrines in Pakistan and India, the penetration of Bangladesh by radicals, and aggression against traditional Muslims in U.P. They have not yet committed atrocities and demolition on the scale of the Wahhabis, because the Deobandis only exercise limited power.

But accommodation of either form of violent fundamentalism will lead inexorably to more chaos and cruelty. The Taliban destruction of the Buddhist monuments at Bamiyan in Afghanistan represented an imitation of Saudi-Wahhabi devastation in Mecca, Medina, and other peninsular cities.

For India to complacently allow Al-Sudais to meet and conspire with the Deobandi leadership strikes a serious blow against moderate Muslims, including activists for social reform in Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries.

It also harms those in South Asia endeavouring to build barriers against the tsunami of radical exhortation, financing, enlistment, and, finally violence, that is sweeping the subcontinent.

India has already had enough bitter experience with Wahhabism. Its political and religious leaders should say no to Al-Sudais, and send him back to the Saudi kingdom without delay.

Egypt:Salafi/Wahabis destroying Sufi Shrines

Leaders and followers of the Sufi orders have threatened to launch a Sufi war on those responsible for the demolition of shrines belonging to the family of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH), describing themselves as soldiers of God charged with defending these shrines and tombs.Some followers of Sufism have recently accused Salafi Muslims of attacking and destroying shrines belonging to Sufi clerics in various parts of Egypt, including Alexandria, Beheira and Monufiya. During a protest organized by the Supreme Council for Sufi Orders in the Hussein Mosque Square on Tuesday evening, the Sufi followers called on the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) to denounce the demolition of the shrines. They also threatened to prevent Salafis from entering the shrines belonging to the family of Prophet Mohamed (PBUH). The Sufi’s also called on all Sufi disciples to unite in order to put a stop to what they described as “Salafi thuggery” at the shrines, as well as the formation of Sufi committees around all shrines to protect them. During the protest, a number of signs were raised such as “No to the demolition of shrines” and “We call on the Egyptian government and the SCAF to protect the holy places and the Islamic identity of Egypt.” Meanwhile, a number of Sufi disciples attempted to lead a protest outside the Square. However, the were stopped by leaders of the Rifai Sufi Order, who instructed them not to leave the Square in order to prevent the disruption of traffic on Azhar Street. The protest was joined by a number of leaders of the Shia community in Egypt, headed by Shia leader of Egypt Mohamed al-Derini, as well as by heads of the Syndicate of al-Ashraf. Al-Derini said he had come to join the Sufi order in their million man march against the ongoing assault from Salafi Wahhabism, which he said shows no respect for other beliefs or religions.

44 killed in Sakhi Sarwar Shrine blasts

Dera Ghazi Khan—At least 44 persons died and over 100 injured as result of three bomb blasts at shrine of Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar (RA) on Sunday.

According to details a bomb exploded at the entrance of the shrine and later another explosion ripped through in a bazaar located behind the shrine. When police and rescue workers were engaged in rescue work third bomb blast ripped through inside the shrine.

पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री यूसुफ रजा गिलानी ने पंजाब प्रांत की एक सूफी दरगाह के बाहर रविवार को हुए आत्मघाती हमलों की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए जांच के आदेश दे दिए हैं। उधर, मृतकों की संख्या 42 तक पहुंच गई है तथा 100 से अधिक लोग घायल हुए हैं।

डेरा गाजी खान शहर के निकट एक सूफी दरगाह में तीन दिवसीय त्यौहार मनाने के लिए विभिन्न जगहों के सैकड़ों सूफी मुसलमान एकत्र हुए थे। यह सूफी दरगाह शहर से लगभग 40 किलोमीटर दूर पर्वत पर स्थित है।

पहला आत्मघाती हमला 5.40 बजे शाम को दरगाह के ठीक सामने किया गया था। दूसरा विस्फोट घटनास्थल के पास ही हुआ। समाचार एजेंसी सिन्हुआ के मुताबिक सूत्रों ने बताया कि तीसरा विस्फोट दरगाह के निकट उस जगह हुआ जहां लोग पहले और दूसरे विस्फोट में घायल हुए लोगों की मदद कर रहे थे।

उधर, जियो टीवी के मुताबिक इन हमलों में कम से कम 42 लोग मारे गए हैं और 100 से अधिक घायल हुए हैं। पुलिस ने इस मामले में दो संदिग्ध आतंकवादियों को गिरफ्तार किया है, जिनमें से एक ने आत्मघाती जैकेट पहन रखा था। दोनों को घटनास्थल से ही गिरफ्तार किया गया।

स्थानीय मीडिया की रपटों के मुताबिक पहले विस्फोट को अंजाम देने वाले आत्मघाती हमलावर की उम्र 17 से 22 के बीच थी। बचाव कार्य शुरू कर दिया गया है और घायलों को नजदीकी अस्पतालों में भर्ती कराया गया है।

उधर, प्रधानमंत्री गिलानी ने इस हमले की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए जांच के आदेश दे दिए हैं। मीडिया रपटों में कहा गया है कि इन हमलों की जिम्मेदारी तहरीक-ए-तालिबान पाकिस्तान (टीटीपी) ने ली है।

Rescue workers reported that 20 injured persons were in critical condition fearing that death tool would go up.

Doctors belonging to Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan resumed their duties to provide aid to injured people in the incident.

Urse of Sakhi Sarwar has been continuing for the past two months and thousands of devotees were present at the time of bomb blasts.

Newly elected MNA from DG Khan Sardar Awais Leghari alleged that the criminals were enjoying the backing of the government high ups, adding that the government was using the security agencies for personal purposes instead of using them for improving the security of the area.

Rescue sources quoted that police have cordoned off the area after the incident. The security of other shrines in the country was tightened after the blasts at Sakhi Sarwar Shrine.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Amir JI Syed Munawar Hassan, Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, JUI-F Amir Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PTI Chairman Imran Khan have strongly condemned the bomb blast at the Shrine of Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar.

Taliban spokesman Elsanullah Ehsan claimed responsibility of his outfit for the lethal blasts at the shrine of Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar (RA).

The Shrine of Sakhi Sarwar is located on a hill, the border of Punjab and Balochistan, some 40 km from the main DG Khan city and the inclined rout leading to the shrine is called “Pul-e-Sirat” straight bridge.

Regional Police Officer (RPO) Ahmad Mubarak said that two suicide attackers were held by rescue officials and law enforcement agencies. The accused were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.

One of the apprehended attackers was identified as Fida Hussain of Dera Ismail Khan who lost his arm in the blast, the officer said.

Sunni Ittehad Council calls for APC on shrine attacks

The Sunni Ittehad Council, Pakistan, has demanded Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani call All Parties Conference to protect the holy shrines and establish a special force for security of the places.

Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club here on Monday, Sunni Ittehad Council chairman Sahibzada Fazl Karim said attacks on the holy shrines were a part of an international conspiracy to provoke sectarianism in the country. He said some forces wanted to destabilize the country by attacking peaceful gatherings at the holy shrines, adding the attackers were promoting anarchy in the name of Jihad and they had no connection with Islam.

Fazl Karim said that the Sunni Ittehad Council would hold an Istehkam-e-Pakistan Sunni Conference in the premises of Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore on April 17, to counter terrorism and create peaceful atmosphere in the country, wherein thousands of workers would take oath to resist Talibanization in the country.

He said the delegations of Sunni clerics from 45 Muslim countries would participate in the conference to show solidarity with Pakistani Muslims.

Moreover, he said, the coming Friday would be observed as Condemnation Day against the anti-Islam activities and brutal attacks on the holy shrines.

Sahibzada also expressed his apprehension on target killings of hundreds of citizens and Sunni clerics in Karachi.

He demanded of the chief justice of Pakistan to take notice of the target killings and attacks on holy shrines.

On the occasion, a number of Sunni Ittehad leaders, including Pir Syed Mohammad Safdar Shah Gilani, Pir Syed Mohammad Ajmal Shah Gilani, Pir Mohammad Athar-ul-Qadri and Mohammad Zia-ul-Haq Naqashbandi, were also present.

Indian Muslims and Imam-e-Haram Sheikh Abdurehman Al Sudais

इमाम हरम के भारत आगमन पर उर्दू अखबारों ने काफी कुछ लिखा है। जिस तरह उनका प्रचार-प्रसार किया जा रहा था उस पर चर्चा करते हुए एक अखबार ने लिखा है कि यह सुनामी है। सुनामी गुजर जाने के बाद देखिएगा, कैसे-कैसे दृश्य नजर आते हैं। पेश है इस बाबत उर्दू के कुछ अखबारों की राय।

`इमाम हरम का दौरा देवबंद’ के शीर्षक दैनिक `उर्दू नेट’ में सम्पादक असगर अंसारी ने लिखा है कि मक्का और मदीना की मस्जिद में इमामत के लिए योग्य होना ऐसा ही है जैसा दिल्ली की शाही मस्जिद का मामला है, बाप के बाद बेटा उसके बाद पोता। जिस तरह जामा मस्जिद के शाही इमाम की योग्यता पूर्व इमाम का बेटा होना है उसी तरह मक्का में स्थित हरम का इमाम होना मोहम्मद बिन अब्दुल वहाब के रिश्तेदारों से होना है। सऊदी अरब ने अपने यहां जारी आंदोलन की लहर को टालने के लिए मसलकी रंग दे दिया है और अमेरिका के इशारे पर इस्राइली हितों को संरक्षण देने हेतु बहरीन में सैनिक हस्तक्षेप कर दिया है। दूसरी ओर सऊदी अरब के धार्मिक विभाग के मंत्रालय ने आम मुसलमानों को यह समझाने की जिम्मेदारी दी है कि सऊदी अरब में इस्लाम के अनुसार शरई सरकार है और इसके खिलाफ गतिविधियां इस्लाम के खिलाफ और गैर शरई हैं। सभी इमामों से कहा गया है कि वह आंदोलनकारियों को शिया करार देकर इस्लामी जगत के लिए खतरा करार दें ताकि सुन्नी मुसलमान इस आंदोलन के खिलाफ एकजुट हो जाएं। सऊदी अरब के सामने सबसे बड़ा मिशन यही है और उसके मंत्री, दूत एवं धार्मिक व्यक्ति इस समय दुनियाभर के दौरे पर हैं। शेख अबुर्दुरहमान बिन अब्दुल अजीज असुदैस का दौरा भी इसी सिलसिले की कड़ी मालूम होता है। कांफ्रेंस के लिए विषय का चयन भी ऐसा है जो मुसलमानों में बहरहाल विवादित है।

`और कितना नीचे उतरेंगे अरशद मियां?’ के शीर्षक से वरिष्ठ पत्रकार हफीज नोमानी ने `जदीद’ खबर में लिखा है कि उनके प्रेस में सैयद सालार मसूद गाजी के उर्स का पोस्टर छपवाने एक साहब आते थे। एक बार जब वह आए तो उन्होंने कहा कि इस बार पोस्टर में आधे में मेरा फोटो और तीन इंच की मोटी पट्टी में नाम सहित आधे में उर्स का विवरण और कैलेंडर होगा। इसकी संख्या एक लाख होगी। यह पूछने पर कि इस बार ऐसा अलग क्यों हैं, उन्होंने कहा कि वह चुनाव लड़ना चाहते हैं इसीलिए आधे में फोटो और आधे में कैलेंडर है ताकि लोगों के घर में लगा रहे और सालभर लोग मुझे देखकर याद करते रहें। इस उदाहरण को देने के बाद वह लिखते हैं अगर हमारी बात गलत है तो माफ कर दीजिएगा। हमें बिल्कुल ऐसा लग रहा है कि जैसे हमारे दोस्त सैयद सालार मसूद गाजी की गोद में बैठकर संसद में पहुंचना चाहते हैं। मौलाना अरशद मदनी बिना जरूरत और बिना किसी कारण पैगम्बर मोहम्मद के महान साथियों (सहाबा) को जमीअत उलेमा के लिए इस्ताल कर रहे हैं। दिल्ली में लाख दो लाख मुसलमानों को जमा करके अपनी लोकप्रियता का प्रदर्शन कर राज्यसभा की सदस्यता के लिए रास्ता साफ कर रहे हैं।

`सहाबा की महानता के नाम पर अमेरिकी हितों का संरक्षण’ के तहत डॉ. मुजफ्फर हुसैन गजाली ने `सेकुलर कयादत’ में लिखा है। हिन्दुस्तानी मुसलमान यह महसूस करते हैं कि ऐसे समय में सहाबा की महानता पर कांफ्रेंस करना जबकि मुस्लिम देशों में तानाशाहों के खिलाफ लोकतंत्र के हक में एक जबरदस्त इंकलाब आया हुआ है जिसकी शुरुआत ईरान से हुई थी। इत्तेहाद मिल्लत (मुस्लिम एकता) को नुकसान पहुंचाना है। मुस्लिम दुनिया में जो हालात पैदा हो रहे हैं उनसे ईरान के लिए मुसलमानों में गुंजाइश पैदा हुई है और शिया-सुन्नी करीब आए हैं। अरशद मदनी की सहाबा की महानता कांफ्रेंस मुस्लिम हित की नहीं बल्कि इस्राइल एवं अमेरिका के हित के संरक्षण की कांफ्रेंस है। सऊदी अरब में लोकतांत्रिक सरकार अमेरिका के हित में नहीं है। ऐसा करने से उसकी पकड़ कमजोर पड़ जाएगी। हो सकता है कि मौलाना मिल्ली इत्तेहाद को नुकसान पहुंचाकर इस अवसर का फायदा उठाने की रणनीति के तहत मैदान में उतरे हों। इससे मौलाना के दो मकसद पूरे हो सकते हैं। एक कांग्रेस उन्हें राज्यसभा में भेज दे तो उनकी मंजिल है दूसरे उन्हें आने वाले चुनावों में मुसलमानों का वोट कांग्रेस के हक में डलवाने का ठेका मिल जाए। `हमारा समाज’ में सालिक धामपुरी ने `देखने हम भी पर तमाशा न हुआ’ के शीर्षक से लिखा है। इमाम हरम के हमारे देश में आने की सूचना कारोबारी मकसद से निकलन वाले अखबारात में दीनी व मिल्ली जमाअतों बल्कि हमारे उलेमा की ओर से दिए गए लाखों रुपये के विज्ञापनों से पढ़ने को मिली। इमाम हरम का हमारे देश में आने का मकसद क्या है यह हम नहीं जानते, लेकिन इनके आगमन पर हमारी मिल्ली जमाअतों ने अपनी पब्लिसटी का कोई मौका हाथ से नहीं जाने दिया। 26 मार्च को इमाम हरम को जमाअत इस्लामी हिन्द के मुख्यालय स्थित गुबंद वाली मस्जिद में जोहर की नमाज पढ़ानी थी इसके लिए एक दिन पहले से ही रिक्शे पर ऐलान कराया गया और अखबारों में विज्ञापन दिया गया जिसके कारण भीड़ इतनी हो गई कि वह मस्जिद के अन्दर नहीं जा सके और उन्हें बिना नमाज पढ़ाए ही वापस जाना पड़ा। माना कि भीड़ के कारण वह नमाज नहीं पढ़ा सके लेकिन जमाअत इस्लामी हिन्द कैडर आधारित संगठन होने का दावा करती है। देश की व्यवस्था की तब्दीली की इच्छा रखने वाली जमाअत एक मामूली से कार्यक्रम को कंट्रोल नहीं कर सकी। सुबह से इमाम हरम के जोहर की नमाज अदा कराने का एक मुबारक तमाशे का जो ऐलान हो रहा था, अफसोस कि वह तमाशा न हो सका। `इमाम हरम के दौरे पर सियासी रोटियां सेकने की कोशिश तेज’ के तहत देवबंद से रिजवान सलमानी ने `हमारा समाज’ में लिखा है कि राजनैतिक विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि केंद्र की यूपीए सरकार विशेषकर प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह के अमेरिका की ओर झुकाव से कांग्रेस की मुसलमानों और सेकुलर लोगों में जो छवि बनी है, इमाम हरम के दौरे से इसमें बदलाव आएगा। कांग्रेस और ममता बनर्जी की तृणमूल कांग्रेस ने आगे बढ़कर इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया और केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री गुलाम नबी आजाद ने उनके लिए अशोका होटल में भोज दिया। उससे कांग्रेस के इरादे किसी से छिपे नहीं रह सके। विशेषज्ञ यह भी मानते हैं कि गत कुछ समय से उत्तर प्रदेश के मुसलमानों को समाजवादी पार्टी और बहुजन समाज पार्टी से तोड़ने में जीजान से कांग्रेस लगी है। वर्तमान कार्यक्रम को कांग्रेस की इसी नीति का हिस्सा माना जा रहा है।

`इमाम हरम की राजनीति’ के शीर्षक से दैनिक `हमारा समाज’ में ख्वाजा मजनू ने लिखा है। राजधानी वालों के लिए यह सप्ताह काफी मुबारक था। हर तरफ पवित्र हलचल थी। लोग जा-ए-नमाज (जमीन पर बिछाकर नमाज पढ़ने का कपड़ा) लेकर भागते नजर आ रहे थे। जिन्होंने कभी खुदा का घर नहीं देखा वह भी भगवान राम के मैदान सिजदा करने के लिए बेचैन थे। कोई इसे आधा हज का दर्जा दे रहा था तो कोई हज से भी ज्यादा महत्व देने में लगा था। दिल्ली में इमाम साहब कहां जाएंगे और कहां नहीं जाएंगे इसके लिए अन्दर ही अन्दर खूब खींचातानी हुई। आईटीओ स्थित मस्जिद अब्दुल नबी से 24 घंटे कंट्रोलिंग की कोशिश की जा रही थी।

यहां मुंबई के एक साहब हैं, जिन्हें कुछ लोग मोबाइल आफिस भी कहते हैं। वह एक ट्रेवल एजेंट हैं लेकिन छोटे बाबू की सेवा करना अपना कर्तव्य समझते हैं। छोटे बाबू ने वह कर दिखाया जिससे उनके पूर्वज वर्षों से नहीं करना चाहते थे। सऊदी सरकार के खिलाफ अपनी आवाज उठाने के लिए मशहूर इनके पूर्वजों की आत्मा को कितनी तकलीफ हुई होगी जब एक सरकारी इमाम के लिए शेखुल इस्लाम का नारा लगा रहे हों। एक ऐसा व्यक्ति कदमों में एक कर्मचारी के गिर पड़ा हो जिनके पूर्वजों के कदमों में पूरा शासन नतमस्तक हुआ हो और उन्होंने उसे ठोकर मार दी हो। खैर, यह तो समय-समय की बात है। हालात सदैव एक जैसे नहीं रहते और बुद्धिजीवी वही है जो हालात के अनुसार फैसला करे, जो अपनी बरतरी के लिए किसी का कदम चूमें और किसी के दर पर माथा टेके।

In the aftermath of Egypt’s revolution, many moderate Muslims have expressed anxiety over the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in the country’s political and social life, while human rights monitors have warned against discrimination and attacks on the Coptic Christian minority.

But something else long feared has happened there as well. According to the authoritative newspaper Al-Masry Al-Youm, 16 historic mosques in Alexandria belonging to Sufi orders have been marked for destruction by Salafis. The newspaper notes that Alexandria has 40 mosques associated with Sufis, and is the headquarters for 36 Sufi groups. Half a million Sufis live in the city, out of a municipal total of four million people.

Aggression against the Sufis in Egypt has included a raid on Alexandria’s most distinguished mosque, named for, and housing, the tomb of the 13th century Sufi, al-Mursi Abu’l Abbas. Born in the then-Muslim city of Murcia in southeastern Spain, al-Mursi emigrated to Alexandria. He was a disciple of and successor to the Sufi sheikh Abu’l Hassan al-Shadhili, founder of the powerful Shadhili Sufi order, which remains influential throughout north Africa, south Asia, the Muslim communities of the Indian Ocean, and Indonesia.

Salafis have alleged that Sufis are agents of the west as well as heretics. The extremists want to take control of Sufi mosques, after they destroy shrines within their precincts. One object of their manoeuvres is the Qaed Ibrahim mosque in Alexandria, which was the site of mass protests, involving thousands of people, co-ordinated with those in Cairo’s Tahrir Square, during the movement against ex-president Hosni Mubarak.

The Alexandrian Sufi leader sheikh Gaber Kasem al-Kholy has said: “Coptic Christians are a main target for those extremists, but we need to speak out about the suffering of the Sufi people. We have a considerable number of followers, and we are willing and able to protect Egypt’s legacy.”

The devastation of Sufi shrines in Alexandria has already led to counter demonstrations in the city. Al-Kholy has announced that local committees would be formed to protect Sufi sites, and has distributed forms soliciting youth to serve as volunteers. He said the Sufis have submitted a memorandum to the Egyptian military enumerating 20 Sufi institutions that had been attacked.

On April 5, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm, Sufi sheikh Mohamed Alaa Abul Azayem, of the Azeemia Sufi order, announced that it would found an “Egyptian Liberation party” to combat both the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafi fundamentalists if either took power and threatened the Sufis. The political project has also involved members of the National Association for Change, the reformist Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies, and the Islamic Popular Leadership Organisation.

In addition, Sufi residents of the Egyptian governorates of al-Minufyia and Aswan have entered complaints with the government’s Ministry of Islamic Endowments and public prosecutors, demanding state protection for Sufi structures, against radical encroachment. Radicals in Al-Minufiya had previously assaulted Coptic citizens. Violation of Sufi rights has also been reported in the al-Buharya governorate.

In the governorate of al-Qalyubiya, two Salafis were arrested at the end of March after a group of their followers razed five local shrines. Fighting broke out with townspeople who gathered to protect the tombs.

Egyptian Sufis have described themselves as “soldiers of God” responsible for the defence of shrines and tombs. A protest against radical violence was called last week by Egypt’s Supreme Council of Sufi Orders, at the Hussein mosque in Cairo, and was joined by a leader of the Shia Muslim minority, Muhammad al-Derini.

The conference was attended by not only the Ulema of J&K State and country but also from various parts of the world. The conference commenced with Quraan Khawaani and Naat Khawaani. Later the religious scholars delivered their conscience inspiring and thought provoking speeches with regard to Islam, Faith and Teachings of Prophet Mohammad (SAW).

These religious scholars in their speeches said that the Islamic teachings are very much relevant in this modern and scientific age also. They also highlighted the teachings of Prophet and appealed the people to follow the teachings of Prophet in letter and spirit, which is the only solution for the human sufferings. They said that “Aulia Kirams” have always shown the path of truth, brotherhood and tolerance, that is why these Aulias travelled thousands of kilometers to reach the people and apprise them about the teachings of Islam and Prophet Mohammad (SAW). The Ulemas said these Aulias sacrificed everything to achieve this goal. They unanimously demanded establishment of Shiekh-ul-Alam University in valley forthwith and also appreciated Moulana Ghulam Rasool Haami for translating this dream into reality.

Addressing on the occasion, the Ameer of Tehreek Karwaan Islami Moulana Haami said that with the full support of people from all shades of life this Tehreek is progressing to achieve the objectives of universal brotherhood, peace, unity among people of all faiths by spreading the teachings of our Prophet (SAW). He promised that Shiekh-ul-Alam University will be established soon and said 200 Kanals of land has been donated by the people in Ganderbal particularly Wakoora. He expressed his gratitude to these people for the purpose. He also thanked the Ulemas who attended this conference.

The ambassador of Tajkistan in India Mr. Syed Ahmad Beigh Sayeedi on the occasion said that such conferences prove helpful in spreading the message of Aulia Kirams in real sense. He said Tajkistan is in near future organizing a conference on Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA) and said that the shrines of Mir Syed Ali Hamdani and other Aulia Kirams have been renovated and maintained in a befitting manner. He invited the people to visit these shrines in Khatlan.

Muslims demanded ban on Tablighi Jamaat

Al Qaeda terrorists had used the services of Delhi-based missionary group Tablighi Jamaat to get visas and finances to travel to Pakistan in the mid-80s, a Wikileaks document recently revealed. In Mumbai, the group is active at Chunabhatti and Noor Masjids on Mohammad Ali Road, besides mosques in Rabodi, Thane and Kausa, Mumbra. They also have a markaz or centre in Jogeshwari.

The Chunabhatti mosque holds a weekly ijtema or religious meet on Thursday evenings where functionaries say, the ‘doors are open to everyone’. But the group claims that it stays away from politics, does not solicit membership and does not proselytise.
Members said that they only visit mosques to encourage piety.

“Our Jamaat tells people to do namaaz regularly and become ideal Muslims,” said Ulema Council member Maulana Mahmood Daryabadi who is part of the group. “We talk only about what is below the soil (answers to god after death) and the heavens (instructions of god to be followed during life). We are not bothered about political parties and are not involved in riots.”

The statements by Guantanamo detainees are not the first time when the group’s name has figured in terror plots. Even earlier, the organisation’s name had popped up in investigations of terror cases, including the 7/7 bombings (in 2005) in London. “It is possible because since we have no membership, people come and sit at the masjid. The Nizamuddin mosque is open to everyone. We have no way of knowing if the wrong kind of people come to the mosque. The Jamaat is not responsible for this,” said a Tablighi who asked not to be named.

The news has led to demands by other Muslim groups for a ban on the Tablighis. “The Tablighi Jamaat helped Al Qaeda. We will ask the home ministry to suggest a ban on the group,” Maulana Saeed Noori of Raza Academy said.

Non bailable warrant issued against Zakir Naik,Raza Academy demands seizure of his passport

Infamous orator and Ahle Hadith doctor Zakir naik has been issued Non Bailable warrants against him by the Jhansi court of Uttar Pradesh,India.A complaint was filed against him by Mudassar Ullah Khan, a resident of Chhatapur, Jhansi in 2008. Khan alleged that apart from the speech, pamphlets were also distributed in Jhansi condemning those who follow the Hadis or the book on the sayings and doings of Prophet Mohammed salallahoalaihiwassalam.

In April, the additional district sessions judge at Jhansi issued summons asking Naik to appear before the court on May 12. Naik approached the Allahabad high court for a stay on the summons. Advocate Shahid Ali Siddiqui, who represents the complainant, said, “Dr Naik did not appear before the court on May 12 and the court issued a non-bailable warrant against him.”
Advocate Nazrul Islam Zafri who is representing Naik in the high court said, “The complaints made against Dr Naik are frivolous and malicious. It has been filed just to defame him.”The case will be heard by Justice RD Khare of Allahabad high court.
The Allahabad high court will be hearing a petition filed by Mumbai-based television evangelist Dr Zakir Naik on May 16 in a three-year old case where the preacher is alleged to have given speeches on television, exhorting Muslims to take up terrorism.

Naik, who heads a group called the Islamic Research Foundation, Mumbai, is alleged to have given the speech in Bangalore. The talk was relayed on his ‘Peace’ television channel on January 21, 2006.

Raza Academy,a representative body of majority Indian Muslims have written to the Mumbai police commissioner saying that Naik should not be allowed to leave the country.Muhammad Saeed Noori ,General secretary have asked the govt. to Seize his passport immediately.

Muslims Protested against Diamond Comics Blasphemy in New Delhi Parliament street

A huge demonstration was held in the heart of Delhi against an alleged “blasphemer”, the printer and publisher of Diamond Comics. Muslims claim that the April 2011 issue of Diamond Comics, containing the alleged blasphemous remarks and pictures, is still being sold in the market. The issue is said to contain the Prophet’s imaginary photos.

Several such protest demonstrations, dharnas, agitations and meetings have taken place in various places in the country and regularly been covered by New Age Islam.

A demonstration attended by several renowned Islamic scholars including Hazrat Quazi Ahle Sunnat w Mufti e Azam Mian Samar Dehlavi  was organized at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, by Islami Taalimi Board of India and  Anjuman Ahle e Sunnat Falah e Darain Masjid e Shaikhan,Muslim Students Organisation of India MSO President Syed Muhammad Qaudri,All India Ulema Mashaiklh Board Convener Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Naeemi.

The demonstrators demanded immediate cancellation of the publisher’s license, RNI No. and the government declaration. While addressing the demonstration, the patron of the organization, Quazi Ahle Sunnat w Mufti e Azam Dehli Mohammad Mian Samar said, “It is the religious duty of all the Muslims to secure and protect the honour and dignity of the Prophet (pbuh) and for this Ghulaman e Mustafa (Servants of the Prophet) cannot desist from paying even the highest price. Muslims sentiments have got wounded by the cheek of the publisher’s act of shame and ungodliness.

Several speakers demanded immediate arrest of the said publisher and banning of the “blasphemous” issue of Diamond Comics. These were: Maulana Shaikh Abu Bakr Ahmad Quadri, Jamia Markaz Saquaft us Sunniya, Kerala, Quari Mohammad Mian Mazhari, Maulana Shah Al Hameed, Syed Mohammad Quadri, President, MSO of India,  and Amanullah Khan, the one who have lodged an FIR in Jamia Nagar Police Station. This demonstration was attended by the Member of Delhi Legislative Assembly, Mr. Shoaib Iqubal, various Sajjada Nasheens, Mashaikh and respected citizens of the town other than Peerzada Bashir Naqushbandi, Maulana Abdul Quadir Rizvi, Maulana Farogh Ahmad, Maulana Rafiuddin Quadri, Maulana Kaleem Reza, Maulan Mohammad Intezar Ahmad, Maulana Ahmad Naeemi, Convener, All India  Ulema Mashaikh  Board,Engineer Shujaat Ali,Syed Faraz Hussain,Waseem Barkati,Syed Adnan Raza,Muzammil Khan and many advocates along with thousands of public.

Mr. Amanullah Khan said he contacted all the Milli organisations in this connection but the so called leaders of the community do not come forward on this burning issue concerning Islam. He added, ‘’ Today I am very happy to see this large gathering and have once again got confirmed that there is no lack of the servants of the Prophet.

Almost all the speakers demanded a ban on the publication and cancellation of the registration of the Diamond Comics and arrest of the publisher and said that the demonstrations and agitation will continue till their demand is accepted and the blasphemer is sent behind bars.

Crowds throng Ajmer for Sufi saint’s Urs Ajmer,

Courted by emperors and commoners alike to have their wishes granted, Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti still draws pilgrims centuries after his death, with people of all faiths in Ajmer for his 799th Urs, or death ceremony, beginning Friday.
The saint’s tomb is the site of one of India’s largest fairs, drawing more than five lakh devotees belonging to different communities from all parts of the subcontinent for the Urs during the first six days of Rajab, the seventh month of the Islamic calendar.

Followers of the saint, also known as Khwaja Gharib Nawaz (benefactor of the poor), have reached Ajmer, set amidst the sylvan surroundings of Anna Sagar Lake adjacent to Pushkar temple. The saint lived from 1141-1230 AD.

The celebrations have already been kickstarted by the hoisting of a white flag. The ritual is swiftly followed by opening the ‘jannati darwaza’ or gates of heaven. According to popular belief, one can ensure a place in heaven by crossing the gate seven times.

The saint’s resting place is sanctified by rose water and sandalwood paste and perfume is sprinkled on it. This is followed by shrouding the tomb with an exquisitely embroidered silken cloth. ‘Fatiha’ (funeral prayers) and ‘salamti’ (prayers) are read at the tomb.
Much awaited by connoisseurs of literature are the poetry sessions, where compositions dedicated to the Moinuddin Chishti are read out.

At night, ‘mehfils’ (religious assemblies) are held in the large mehfil-khana. Presided over by the sajjada-nashin of the dargah, they see qawwalis being sung in praise of the saint and the hall is packed to capacity. There are separate places reserved for women who attend the mehfil, which terminates late in the night with a mass prayer for the eternal peace of the khwaja in particular and mankind in general.

The shrine is a pillar of the philosophy of religious tolerance and cultural and social synthesis that has been the essence of India for centuries. The flowers laid on his grave come from the Hindu flower dealers of Pushkar while most of the chadars to be placed at the shrine too are made by non-Muslim artisans.

Credited with introducing the Chishti Sufi order in South Asia, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, according to legend, turned towards India after a dream in which Prophet Muhammad blessed him to do so. After a brief stay at Lahore, he reached Ajmer and settled down here. Soon he attracted a substantial following amongst the residents of the city, with his practice of “Sulh-e-Kul (peace to all)” concept to promote understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims.

For many years his abode was a place of pilgrimage for millions of people of all castes and creeds and crowds, both Hindu and Muslim, thronged to find spiritual solace.

It was during the reign of Emperor Akbar (1556-1605) that Ajmer emerged as one of the most important centres of pilgrimage in India. The Mughal emperor undertook an unceremonial journey on foot to Ajmer to wish for a son to be his successor.

The Akbarnamah chronicle records that the emperor’s interest was first sparked when he heard some minstrels singing songs about the virtues of the “wali” (god’s saint) who lay “asleep” in Ajmer.

According to the saint, religion is not merely based on rituals and ecclesiastical formalities but “service of humanity”.

Once asked about the highest devotion to god, the saint remarked that it was nothing but: “Dar mandgaan ra fariyad raseedan wa haajat-bichaargaan ra rawa kardan wa gursingaan ra sair gardaneedan” (To redress the misery of those in distress, to fulfil the needs of the helpless and to feed the hungry).”

Initiated in the Chishti Sufi order, I find Ajmer to be the kaabah of my heart. On the 6th of Rajab, June 9 (the seventh Islamic month), I look forward to participating in the 799th Urs festivities of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz. Along with hundreds of thousands of devotees, I queue for long hours to touch the threshold, usually getting my chance in the middle of the night.

Musicians come to seek the blessings of Khwaja because the beginnings of Sufi music assemblies are attributed to him. Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan attributed his success to Khwaja’s benevolence and so does A.R. Rahman. Innumerable qawwal groups of the subcontinent arrive at the dargah to sing praises of Khwaja: “Baruti mehfil shahana mubarak bashad, saqia badao paimana mubarak basahad, ilahi ta abd astana-e-yar rahe, yeh asra hai gharibon ka barqarar rahe…”

(Felicitation to thee for this blessed majestic assembly, O wine pourer, felicitations on your goblet of sacred wine. Oh God, may this threshold of the beloved exist for ever, may this refuge of the poor remain for ever…)

The Chishti Sufi order derives its name from Chisht, a small town near Herat, Afghanistan. Khwaja Abu Ishaq Shami of Damascus established the Sufi order in Chisht where many of his spiritual successors lie buried. He mentored Khwaja Usman who came from Herwan, a town in Iran. On initiating him as a disciple, Hajji Sharif Zindani placed a four-edged cap on Khwaja Usman’s head explaining, “First is the renunciation of the world, second the renunciation of the Hereafter. Third, renunciation of the self and lastly, the renunciation of all else other than God”.

Khwaja Usman lived in the company of his Master for 30 years and died in the holy city of Mecca. The Chishti order gained popularity through the teachings of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. An outstanding figure in the history of Islamic mysticism. Drawn to mystics from early childhood, the quest for knowledge took Khwaja to centres of learning in Samaqand and Bukhara. Khwaja was bestowed with the title of “Gharib Nawaz”, Patron of the poor, in Medina. It was there that he received a spiritual inspiration to settle down in the Indian town of Ajmer. Khwaja laid down the founding principles for the Chishti order: “Develop river-like generosity, sun-like bounty and earth-like hospitality”. Gharib Nawaz stressed renouncing wealth, encouraging self-discipline and prayer. He preached tolerance, advocating respect for all religions. Khwaja’s inclusive message of peace and brotherhood brought hundreds of thousands to the fold of Islam. The Chishti order produced great Sufi masters, including Qutubuddin Bakhtiar Kaki, Baba Farid, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, Naseeruddin Chiragh Dilli and Alauddin Sabir of Kaliyar. The Nizami and Sabri orders are among the numerous branches of the Chishti order. The Ajmer dargah, considered the most sacred in South Asia, attracts pilgrims from different religious and economic backgrounds in the quest of the Sufi master’s blessings.

विरोध में बंद रहे सम्भल सरायतरीन के बाजार

जागरण संवाददाता, सम्भल : पैगम्बर का कार्टून बनाने के विरोध में सम्भल और सरायतरीन के बाजार बंद रहे। मुस्लिम व्यापारी एसोसिएशन ने हजरते इस्लाम का कार्टून बनाने के विरोध में बंद का आ ान किया था। इसी के तहत शुक्रवार को जब रोजमर्रा की तरह बाजार खुला तो एसोसिएशन के कार्यकर्ताओं ने अपनी दुकानों को नहीं खोला जो इक्का-दुक्का दुकानें खुली थीं उन्हें भी अध्यक्ष हाजी एहतेशाम अहमद के नेतृत्व में कार्यकर्ताओं ने बंद करा दिया। इस दौरान कई स्थानों पर कार्यकर्ताओं की नोकझोंक भी हुई। इसी तरह सरायतरीन में बाजार पूरी तरह बंद रहे। मुस्लिम बाहूल्य क्षेत्र होने के कारण लोगों में पैगम्बरे इस्लाम का कार्टून बनाने का विरोध स्पष्ट नजर आ रहा था। एसोसिएशन ने दोपहर बाद जुलूस में शिरकत की और एसडीएम को ज्ञापन भी दिया। इस दौरान मो. शहाबुद्दीन, गुलाम गौस, चौधरी शरफ अली, रोमान खां, शकील सलमानी, आमिर खां, अतीक वास्ती, अकरम अंसारी, तफसीर अहमद, आलम हुसैन, जमीलुर्रहमान, अरीफ आलम आदि

The attack is not only an act of cowardice but is a well organized conspiracy to divide the communities on communal lines.There seems to be a Political agenda behind these attacks. The Home Ministry and the Media should act with caution by not blaming a particular community before anything proven in the court of Law.
MSO expresess solidarity with the victims and appeals to the Muslim youths to help victims in whatever manner they can.
We are of the view that innocent person should not be arrested in the aftermath of these Bomb Blasts.

Deobandi fitnah forced administartion to dig the grave of Saint in Indore

NAGPUR: Ending the 21-day controversy surrounding Hazrat Baba Mustafa, the city police exhumed the godman’s body from the Mohammed Ali Sarai as per the Supreme Court order before shifting it to premises of the Bada Tajbagh on Wednesday under tight security. Police also scored several brownie points ensuring that their process was guided by religious preachers and done in presence of the godman’s kin. The rain-drenched day had some tense moments as city police reimposed curfew in Mominpura locality before they deployed their strength to execute the apex court’s order.

The Godman had died shortly after the midnight of June 28. His bodywas buried in  Mominpura  in the Mohammed Ali Sarai, managed by the Central Tanzim committee in the early hours of the following day.

Later, a riot-like situation erupted after the Ahle Sunnat  clashed with the group who opposed the  burial in the sarai .

Police had to impose curfew apart from firing tear gas shells and use force to disperse the mob. The curfew was lifted on July 13. In the meantime, the Badi Masjid Trust and others filed a litigation against the burial, demanding exhuming of the body. The Baba’s followers had approached the apex court, seeking a stay on the order of the High Court.

The body was taken to its final resting place as a convoy of almost two dozen vehicles escorted the hearse van in which the last remains of the godman was shifted. The 10km journey between the sarai and Tajbagh was a highly secure affair with traffic diversions and strong police protection all along the road. The convoy had a police piloting vehicle followed by several police jeeps, teams of the special branch, state anti-Terrorist squad, NMC ambulances, fire tenders, a minibus carrying the Quick Response Teams (QRT), traffic vehicles and vehicles carrying senior officers. The entire process and the convoy was videographed and images were captured for records for future reference.

City police chief Ankush Dhanvijay said the shifting was well-planned and chalked out with the involvement of other agencies too. “We ensured that a handful of religious preachers from the same sect as that of the Baba were present for guiding the process with pious methods,” said Dhanvijay. He added, “Even the grave diggers were from the same sect and we had also called in the relatives of the godman to be present with us during the exhuming and later burial. We buried the body at a spacious place where other such revered souls are also resting. At the time of the burial, the Shahi Imam of Tajbagh was also present with his team of maulvis.”

Dhanvijay and municipal commissioner Sanjeev Jaiswal, along with NMC deputy commissioner Rizwan Siddiqui, had already reached the place shortly after the apex court delivered its verdict. A strong police force was deployed in the locality. City police’s special branch team too was ready with Baba’s relatives, the maulavis and the required tools and religious material required for the burial.

Police had already made their intention clear by retaining curfew and continuing arrests and preventive actions for around a fortnight after the riot broke out in the Muslim dominated Mominpura towards the end of June.

“We are keeping a close watch on the post-burial developments. Our curfew shall continue until the next security review satisfies us that normalcy has returned in true sense. We don’t mind extending the curfew to other places and so there is a warning against any kind of mischief mongering which would be also a sort of contempt of court,” said Dhanvijay.

Subramaniam Swamy Spewed Venom against Indian Muslims in DNA News Paper

Subramanian Swamy in his true insightful but provocative style has written an article in DNA July 14: ‘How to wipe out Islamic Terror’. Much of the article is on Islamic terrorism and how it threatens Hindus in India. In response Seema Mustafa, a noted journalist, has responded with another article in DNA July 19 titled ‘Dr Subramanian Swamy has inflamed passions through blatant falsehoods’. I have read only a few of Mustafa’s articles which have come across as good, sensible pieces of journalism. This particular piece of hers in response to Swamy stands out in some ways. Falsehoods she says. Okay, so before I come back to her article let’s try and understand what Swamy has said.

Swamy’s strongly worded article revolves around 5 goals that he attributes to the Islamists or the ‘unfinished’ Islamic business for India if you like. I believe these being central to his article would constitute the falsehoods that Seema Mustafa is talking about.

Goal 1 (Falsehood 1) : Overawe India on Kashmir.

I need not go into the history of Pak-funding of militants, frequent incursions, Kargil war and all that. They never happened. Lakhs of Hindu Pandits displaced violently from their homes and are refugees in their own country. Falsehood, never happened. SmitaPrakash, another prominent journalist writes chillingly about how teenagers and youths were paid money in the stone pelting exercise. Oops, falsehood again! Geelani and company go around the country  with inflammatory speeches. Falsehood! Again! Hoisting Pakistani flags at Lal Chowk on Republic Day. Falsehood, never happened. There you go, Mustafa disproves Swamy’s goal no.1

Goal 2 (Falsehood 2): Blast temples, kill Hindu devotees.

Blasts at Varanasi this year. Oops, that wasn’t a temple, that was some Sulabh Sauchalay. Daring attack on Akshardham in Gandhinagar (Gujarat) in 2002. Again Akshardham is hardly a Hindu temple. Sai Baba temple blast in 2002. Misreported. Sankat Mochan temple blast. What a lie! All these are falsehoods because Muslims and Christians may have died in these temple blasts too. There might be more and I guess all of those are falsehoods too. Mustafa exposes Swamy’s lie on this one too.

Goal 3 (Falsehood 3): Turn India into Darul Islam.

That’s a blatant lie by Swamy. This statement by the Imam Bukhari of Delhi was falsely reported by media all over. “We were rulers here for 800 years. Inshaallah, we shall return to powerhere once again”” and threatens “this country is in for another partition,so let us be prepared for nation- wide riots and violence. ” I would recommend readers to go through the post ‘Life,Liberty and the pursuit of Sharia’. Swamy is a liar. It is not just India, this particular falsehood is for the whole world and not just India. Mustafa, once again, brilliantly exposes the falsehood.

Goal 4 (Falsehood 4): Change India’s demography by illegal immigration, conversion, and refusal to adopt family planning.

Read my post ‘Make Mumbai aseparate state’. There isn’t still a handle on the number of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, Pakistan or other places in Mumbai, Assam, Bengal and other places. The vote-bank hugging ‘secular’ government simply loves this. And when was the last time you ever heard of population control, family planning etc.? Those terms died in the late seventies. Mustafa doesn’t have much to say on this so her silence proves it to be an absolute falsehood. Bravo!

Goal 5 (Falsehood5): Denigrate Hinduism through vulgar writings and preaching in mosques, madrassas, and churches to create loss of self-respect amongst Hindus and make them fit for capitulation.

Well, I suppose at all mosques and madrasas they are only preaching love for humanity. I guess the FBI in the USA is stupid to be keeping a close vigil on all major mosques. The UK does it now too. Some mosques in Germany have even been shut down. It is only in India that Swamy is stupid to peddle this lie. Once again Seema Mustafa has nothing to say on this. So once again her silence on this proves it to be a falsehood. We would never get to know what goes on in mosques and madrasas because our ‘secular’ government considers that too important a sentiment to offend.

So now that Seema Mustafa has clearly established the falsehoods in Swamy’s article let’s see what she actually had to say in her piece. Much or almost all of her article is an ad hominem attack on Swamy and is basically an opinion piece. It neither confronts the basic premise of Swamy’s central arguments nor does it offer a solid, logical and factual rebuttal of his contentions. Needless to mention, Swamy’s article also contains quite a bit of his opinions and his solutions to the goals are basically his opinions, some of which are also impractical. But a response basically requires disproving the theories stated in an article. To that end, Swamy’s article contains nothing but commonly known facts which he outlines in the 5 goals. None of that is a big secret to anyone, anywhere in the world.

“Swamy’s article has drawn absolutely excellent responses from the people of this country, mostly non-Muslims, to put him and his exhortations in their place” says Seema. Oh yeah? How do you know? Did you carry out a survey? Did you research all the respondents in all forms of media? This is the typical defence of the secularist. Everyone says so, so it must be balderdash. Since when is that childish logic the foundation of mature debate?

“The Hindus, he keeps insisting, are the targets. But when blasts take place in crowded market places in Mumbai or any other part of India, the targets are the people of India, Dr Swamy. Hindus and Muslims and Sikhs and Christians and Parsis and Jains and Brahmins and Dalits and all those who are at the spot die because the bomb cannot differentiate among religions and castes. India, as we have grown up to understand it, is a secular, democratic country belonging to all who are its citizens” writes Mustafa. First note how cleverly and significantly she segregates Hindus, Brahmins, Dalits as three distinct entities. Isn’t that a common secular strategy? That’s the first line of attack of secularists. Separate Hindus into different groups.Wouldn’t it be funny to suggest bombs kill Shias, Sunnis, Protestants and Catholics? Well, only in case of Hindus the bombs know the segregation I suppose..

There is a saying in Goa: “If you throw a stone it will invariably land on a bar”. But, of course, there is a tiny chance it can also land on a church. Same is true for people dying from bomb blasts I suppose. The bombs aimed at Hindus invariably land on other religious groups.

Yeah, bombs don’t know who they kill – brilliant. I don’t walk backwards ‘cuz I don’t have eyes in my ass! But those who plant bombs do know who their intended target is. I suppose those who planted bombs at Zaveri Bazar didn’t know there might be Muslims and Christians in the area. Of course, they also didn’t know that bazar is a predominantly Hindu and Jain bazar or a majority are Gujaratis. Of course, secularists conveniently forget that people have been dragged out of buses in Kashmir, Hindus have been sorted out and lined up separately and killed. So when terrorists have the opportunity they would indeed choose their specific targets. It’s only when it is not possible or inevitable that some collateral damage has to be accepted. How intelligent would it be to suggest that the 9/11 attack wasn’t Islamic terror because Muslims also died in those towers? Yeah, sure, we are so convinced of this line being churned out by politicians, now we have to be reminded repeatedly by journalists, that’s all.

Does anyone remember the Israeli raid on Entebbe airport in 1976. An Air-France airline was hijacked by terrorists and landed at Entebbe airport in Uganda. The terrorists allowed all to go except Jews. Does that explain that when the chance is available terrorists do choose who they wish to target or kill?  I can believe politicians can make silly statements but can’t believe journalists too expect people to be so naïve.

Seema suggests Swamy may even face charges of hate speech or some law-violation. Well, I suppose he has no right to air his views some of which are based on facts but the likes of Digvijay Singh delight our secularists. I have yet to see one really strong piece in any major media outlet that questions the utterances of that man. Never mind that either. Let’s see some more brilliance from Mustafa.

“It (India) is home to all religions, and it is a vibrant democracy that thrives on plurality and diversity. The terrorists, al-Qaeda, Lashkar or the Aseemanands…” Hahahhaha! That really takes the cake! You win Seema! Aseemanand, whose arrest is full of controversy and still not convicted of anything, is sweepingly bracketed with Al-qaeeda and LeT. So fools like me finally realise now, through the wisdom of the likes of Seema Mustafa, that Aseemanand is as big a threat to India and Hindus as are Al-Qaeeda and LeT. I guess that is what RG meant by 99% terror stopped!

There, the falsehoods of Subramanian Swamy stand thoroughly exposed. On behalf of Seema Mustafa should I say, ‘QED’?

अमरोहा। मैनाठेर प्रकरण को लेकर आज आल इंडिया जमात रजा-ए-मुस्तफा के पदाधिकारी लोकेश एम. से मिले तथा मैनाठेर प्रकरण में बेगुनाहों पर दर्ज मुकदमों को वापस लिए जाने की मांग की।

सोमवार को जमात रजा ए मुस्तफा के पदाधिकारी जिलाध्यक्ष मोहम्मद हनीफ की अगुवाई में जिलाधिकारी से मिले। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि मैनाठेर प्रकरण के बाद पुलिस प्रशासन द्वारा बेगुनाह लोगों पर मुकदमे दर्ज कर उन्हें परेशान किया जा रहा है। असालतनगर बघा समेत मैनाठेर एवं डींगरपुर के लोगों को अकारण परेशान किया जा रहा है। जिलाध्यक्ष हनीफ ने इस प्रकरण में जेल में बंद सभी निर्दोष लोगों से तत्काल मुकदमें वापस लेते हुए उन्हें जेल से रिहा किए जाने की मांग की। इस दौरान राज्यपाल को संबोधित ज्ञापन भी जिलाधिकारी को सौंपा। शाह आलम पाशा, शमीम अहमद तुर्क, अनीस आलम, शाहनवाज वारसी, मोहम्मद शाहनवाज, मेराजुल हसन, मौलाना जमील अहमद, मोहम्मद यासिर, अहसान अहमद, इमरान रजा, फरदीन अजहरी, नईम असगर, बाबू हसन, याहया खान, नासिर तुर्क, मोहम्मद दानिश, मोईन साबरी प्रमुख रूप से मौजूद रहे।

बिलारी : दारुल उलूम गुलशने फात्मा में हुई उलेमा मशायख बोर्ड की बैठक में बघा और सहसपुर की घटनाओं के मद्देनजर रमजान के पहले तीन दिनों में खामोशी से विरोध करने का फैसला लिया गया।

वक्ताओं ने कहा कि दोनों जगह अकलियतों के साथ नाइंसाफी हुयी है बेकसूरों पर मुकदमें लगाकर जेल में बंद किया है। इनकी रिहाई और मुकदमें खारिज करने की मांग उठायी है। इसको लेकर शांतिपूर्ण विरोध प्रदर्शन का तरीका यह निकाला है कि रमजान के पहले तीन दिन में अफ्तारी अपने मोहल्ले की मस्जिदों में करेंगे पानी और खजूर अपने घरों से लेकर आएंगे। घरों में बच्चे औरतें भी खजूर और पानी से अफ्तारी करेंगे। बाद में बोर्ड का जो निर्णय होगा वैसा करेंगे।

बैठक में शहर इमाम मौलाना सदाकत हुसैन, मौलाना इलियास, कारी फिरासत, मौलाना मुख्तयार, मौलाना मुजफ्फर, हाफिज मकबूल, डा. मुजफ्फर हुसैन, मौलाना रईस असरफ आदि ने भाग लिया।

सम्भल : आल इंडिया उलेमा एवं मशाइख बोर्ड की बैठक में मैनाठेर प्रकरण में गिरफ्तार लोगों की बिना शर्त रिहाई और दर्ज मुकदमे वापस लेने की मांग की गई। साथ ही धमकी दी कि अगर आनाकानी की तो पवित्र रमजान में इफ्तार पानी से और ईद सादगी से मनाई जाएगी।

शनिवार को शहर के सैफ खां सराय में हाजी रियाजुल वारसी के यहां हुई बोर्ड की बैठक में राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष मोहम्मद सय्यद जफर मसूद व राष्ट्रीय सचिव सय्यद बाबर अशरफ ने कहा कि मैनाठेर के असालतनगर बघा में पुलिस कर्मियों ने कुराने करीम का अपमान किया। लोगों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन किया तो पुलिस ने बात का बतंगड़ बना दिया और झूठे मुकदमे दर्ज कर युवकों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया। कहा कि इन्हें रिहा किया जाए और दर्ज मुकदमे वापस हों। साथ ही, धमकी दी कि अगर बोर्ड की मांगें नहीं मानी तो प्रदेश स्तर पर रमजान के रोजे पानी से इफ्तार किए जाएंगे और ईद भी सादगी से मनाई जाएगी।

पूरे प्रकरण की निंदा करते हुए पुलिस की कार्रवाई को बर्बरतापूर्ण बताया। बैठक में मुफ्ती मौ. जमीर हुसैन अशरफी उर्फ मौ. नौशे, मौ. तैयब, मौ. रागिब, शहनवाज वारसी, मौ. जमीर, कारी महराज, कारी हामिद अली, मुफ्ती निसार अहमद, मौ. इशहाक, शब्बू खां, कारी राहत अली, मौ. जाहिद हुसैन, हाफिज हारुन, हाफिज रब्बानी, हाफिज मेहंदी हसन, कारी अमीर रजा, मौ. तमकीन, शफीक बरकाती, फिरोज खां ने भी विचार रखे। बाद में एसडीएम के माध्यम से मुख्यमंत्री और राज्यपाल को ज्ञापन भेजा गया। बैठक में बरेली, बदायूं, रामपुर, पीलीभीत से आए उलेमाओं ने भी शिरकत की।

मैनाठेर प्रकरण में बेकसूरों को रिहा करे पुलिस

अमरोहा (ज्योतिबाफूलेनगर)। आल इंडिया जमात रजा-ए-मुस्तफा की बैठक में मैनाठेर प्रकरण में गिरफ्तार किए गए लोगों को रमजान का महीना शुरू होने से पहले रिहा कराए जाने की मांग की गई। लोगों से इस सिलसिले में 31 जुलाई को जिला मुख्यालयों पर होने वाले विरोध प्रदर्शन को सफल बनाने की अपील भी की।

आज मुहल्ला बेगम सराय कलां स्थित जिला कार्यालय पर जमात की बैठक हुई। इसमें पिछले दिनों मैनाठेर प्रकरण में डींगरपुर व आसपास के गांवों के गिरफ्तार किए जा रहे निर्दोष लोगों को रिहा कराने व गिरफ्तारी रोके जाने की मांग की गई। बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए जिलाध्यक्ष हाजी हनीफ कादरी ने कहा कि पिछले दिनों मैनाठेर थाना क्षेत्र में हुए प्रकरण के बाद पुलिस बेकसूर मुसलमानों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल में ठूंस रही है। इस संबंध में जमात मुख्यमंत्री से वार्ता करेगी। उन्होंने मांग करते हुए कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री रमजान का महीना शुरू होने से पहले गिरफ्तार किए गए बेकसूर मुसलमानों को रिहा कराएं। उन्होंने कहा कि इस सिलसिले में 31 जुलाई को जमात प्रत्येक जिले में जिला मुख्यालयों पर शांतिपूर्वक विरोध प्रदर्शन करेगी। बैठक में शाहनवाज वारसी, डा. अनीस आलम, मोहम्मद यासिर अंसारी, शाहआलम पाशा, मोहम्मद उमर कादरी व हाफिज नईम मौजूद रहे।

अमरोहा(ज्योतिबाफूलेनगर)। अगर मैनाठेर प्रकरण में गिरफ्तार किए गए निर्दोष मुसलमानों को रिहा नहीं किया गया तो आल इंडिया मशाइख बोर्ड की अपील पर मुसलमान रमजान व ईद की खुशियां नहीं मनाएंगे। पहले रमजान को इफ्तारी भी सिर्फ पानी से की जाएगी। उसके बाद मुख्यमंत्री को ज्ञापन भेजा जाएगा।

यह एलान आज आल इंडिया जमात रजा-ए-मुस्तफा के अध्यक्ष हाजी मोहम्मद हनीफ ने मदरसा शाही चबूतरा में हुई बैठक में किया। जुमे की नमाज के बाद जमात के ओहदेदारान व मुसलमानों की बैठक मदरसा परिसर में हुई। इसमें मैनाठेर प्रकरण में कुरआन शरीफ की बेहुरमती करने वाले पुलिस कर्मियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई कराने व बाद में पुलिस द्वारा गिरफ्तार किए गए निर्दोष लोगों को रमजान से पहले रिहा कराए जाने की मांग की है। बैठक में बोलते अध्यक्ष हाजी मोहम्मद हनीफ ने कहा कि आल इंडिया मशाइख बोर्ड व आल इंडिया जमात रजा-ए-मुस्तफा प्रदेश सरकार से इस मामले में पहले ही यह मांग कर चुकी है कि रमजान से पहले निर्दोष मुसलमानों को रिहा किया जाए लेकिन अभी तक कोई सुनवाई नहीं हो सकी है। उन्होंने कहा कि आल इंडिया मशाइख बोर्ड ने यह फैसला लिया है कि अगर रमजान से पहले प्रदेश सरकार मैनाठेर प्रकरण में गिरफ्तार किए गए निर्दोष लोगों को रिहा करने का आदेश नहीं देगी तो मुसलमान रमजान व ईद की खुशियां नहीं मनाएंगे। इस मांग को शासन तक पहुंचाने के लिए मुसलमान सिर्फ पानी से रोजा इफ्तार करेंगे।

Communal Violence in Moradabad town of Uttar Pradesh

 

Curfew prevailed in parts of Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad city Wednesday after a communal clash involving Kanwariya pilgrims left 23 people injured, police said. Violence broke out in Dasarai locality late Tuesday following heated arguments between someHindu Kanwariya pilgrims and Muslims.

Two policemen were among the injured.

“While a section of Kanwariyas (Lord Shiva devotees) wanted to take out their procession from an undeclared route, members of the minority community were strictly against it. The Kanwariyas resorted to arson and vandalism,” said a police officer.

Members from both communities resorted to large-scale violence and fought pitched battles with police. A police outpost in Aslatpur area and several vehicles were set on fire by the two warring groups.

“Curfew has been imposed in various areas under six police stations. The situation is still tense, but well under control,” District Magistrate Sameer Verma told IANS on telephone from Moradabad, some 250 km from Lucknow.

“Provincial Armed Constabulary, Rapid Action Force have been deployed along with police in parts of Bareilly to avert any untoward incident,” he added.

Allama Fazle Haq Convention at Jamia Millia Islamia University New Delhi

A very grand and beautiful Convention was organised by  Khanqah-e-Qadariya Badaun Shareef along with Monthly Jam-e-Noor with the Cooperation of Jamia Millia Islamia at Ansari Auditorium to observe the 150 death Annivarsary of Freedom Fighter of 1857 Hazrat Allama Fazle Haq Khairabadi on 18th Sep 2011.Allama was the one who issued Fatwa of Jihad against Britishers and got the Life Imprisonment during the first War of Indian Independence.He passedaway at the Jail of Rangoon .it should be rembered that during 1857 majority of warriors who fought againt the foreign occupiers were the Muslim Scholars who received the death Sentence by the hand of cruel Kangaroo courts with out trial.

another significant point is that Allama Fazle Haq also Issued Fatwa against the fitnah of Wahabism at that time. His leadership proved vital and Muslims fought againt both at various front.

Allama Yaseen Akhtar Misbahi of Darul Qalam New delhi has started a Campaign all over the country to commemorate this year in the memory of  Allama Fazle Haq Khairabadi. In this series some conferences have been organised at Lucknow, Hyderabad, Punjab etc and literature has been distributed.

Muslim Mahapanchyat 2011 at Moradabad by AIUMB

A  grand Muslim Maha Panchayat is scheduled to be held on 16th oct, 2011 Moradabad U.P Pakbara (New Moradabad) U.P. under the auspicies of All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board, a representative body of 2/3 Majority Indian Muslims.

We the Sunnis feel that it is the need of the hour to inform our countrymen that we are the followers Sunni Saint who preached Sufisim and we consitute 80% of the muslim populaton and the remaining 20% are the followers of Abdul Wahab Najdi who propogated Wahabism.

The first Grand Sunni Conference was held on 3rd January, 2010 at company Bagh. Moradabad (U.P.) in which 2-3 lacs Sunni Muslims participated and the second Grand Sunni Conference was held on 16th May, 2010 at Sandis Compound, Bhagalpur (Bihar) in which 4-5  lacs Sunni Muslims participated and declared that we sunnis neither accept Imamat or leadership of other sectsThis conference shall be adderesed by eminent Sunni Muslims Scholars.
Through this Maha Panchayat we want to send a message across the world that  majority Sunni Muslims  are always denied equal rights by the other sects namely AhleHadiths/ Deobandis.
The Government Schemes, Waqf Board, Haj Committee, Waqf Council,Minority representation etc in each and every state is occupied by only sect which is in minority and distributes the benefit for the interest of its group only.Even it works against this silent majority Sunni Muslims and Waqf board regularly acts to snatch Masjids and Properties from the custody of these Poor and uneducated Muslims there fore starting a war with in.

Besides this Mahapanchyat will raise all major Issues and problems of Muslim Community before the Govt. specially Reservation to Muslim community , Waqf Amendment bill and establishment of Central  Madarsa Board .
This Maha Panchayat shall prove to be milestone in establishing harmonious relations among all communities by marginalising the radical and militant elements in society and will also change the political scenario of entire nation.

We would also like to assert that we would like to cleanse the society of corruption which engulfed our society.

Rudrapur riots:Quran Desecretion led to 4 Death

RAMPUR: Four people have been killed in communal violence that began in Rudrapur, Uttrakhand yesterday. The violence began when Muslims protested against sacrilege of Quran. Reports suggest that tens of Muslim shops have been torched by mobs trying to destroy Muslim business establishments in the city.

The deaths were caused by indiscriminate police firing on Muslims who were protesting the desecration of the Muslim’s holy book, the Quran. Locals say the violence was preplanned and that this was not the first instance of desecration of the Quran. It was second such instance in a few weeks and people came out to protest against the police inaction in this regard.

Mohammad Nasir, a resident of Rudrapur was reported by India’s leading Urdu newspaper Rashtriya Sahara as saying, “the situation here is very critical. Arsonists are torching Muslim shops and houses one by one. They seem to have details of Muslim business establishments and shops. The condition is deteriorating rapidly. No action has been taken on desecration of the Holy Quran and when Muslims protested, police fired on them. Last month there was another incident when Quran was put on fire after putting an animal’s meat on it. So far five Muslims have been killed and more than three hundred people are still stuck inside the Jama Masjid here.”

Another Rudrapur resident Zamir Khan was quoted by Sahara as saying, “the desecration of the holy book was well planned. Last morning Muslims took out a procession to protest against it under the leadership of Barelvi leader Maulana Zahid Raza Khan. Muslims who were provoked started pelting stone. The police fired indiscriminately against them. Rioters seem to be everywhere. They are attacking Muslim shops and houses in large numbers and police are nowhere visible.

Meanwhile curfew has been imposed on the city and police say condition is under control.

Industrial production is likely to be affected tomorrow as a majority of factory workers live in Rudrapur town which is under curfew, said Udhamsingh Nagar District Magistrate B V R Purushottam.

“The curfew has been clamped to deal with the situation in Rudrapur town where four to five shops and scores of vehicles have been torched,” said Purushotam said.

District administration has confirmed two deaths and the DM said they are trying to verify if there were any more deaths.

रुद्रपुर, जागरण कार्यालय : तराई का शांत शहर रुद्रपुर गांधी जयंती के दिन दो समुदायों के बीच हुई हिंसा की आग में जल उठा। धार्मिक ग्रंथ की कथित बेअदबी पर एक समुदाय के लोग भड़क उठे। दंगे में तीन लोगों की मौत हो गई, जबकि पुलिस कर्मियों समेत 60 जख्मी हो गए। उपद्रवियों ने इंदिरा चौक पर जाम लगाकर पांच दर्जन से अधिक वाहनों को आग के हवाले कर दिया, जबकि आधा दर्जन बसें क्षतिग्रस्त कर दी गई। दो दर्जन से अधिक दुकानें फूंक दी गई। स्थिति को काबू करने के लिए पुलिस ने कई राउंड हवाई फायरिंग की। पथराव में मौके पर पहुंचे एसएसपी, एडीएम व एसडीएम को भी चोटें आई हैं। दंगे वाले क्षेत्र में अनिश्चितकालीन कफ्र्यू लगा दिया गया। इसके बावजूद भदईपुरा क्षेत्र में देर रात तक फायरिंग होती रही। रुद्रपुर के भदईपुरा में रविवार सुबह किसी शरारती तत्व ने एक धार्मिक ग्रंथ को फाड़कर फेंक दिया। एक समुदाय के लोगों ने जब यह देखा तो वे भड़क उठे। कुछ देर बाद उपद्रवियों ने इंदिरा चौक पहुंच जाम लगाकर पथराव शुरू कर दिया। इससे आधा दर्जन बसें क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई। इस बीच एसएसपी गणेश सिंह मर्ताेलिया व एडीएम विजय चंद्र कौशल पुलिस बल व दंगा नियंत्रण वाहन के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। पुलिस व प्रशासन के अफसरों ने तोड़फोड़ कर रहे लोगों को रोकने का प्रयास किया तो उपद्रवियों ने उन पर भी हमला बोल दिया। उपद्रवियों ने अफसरों के कपड़े तक फाड़ डाले। एसडीएम वीर सिंह बुदियाल को पुलिस ने किसी तरह बचाया। दंगाइयों ने दरोगा मनीष खत्री व सिपाही मनोज गोस्वामी को भी जिंदा जलाने का प्रयास किया। उपद्रवियों के तेवर देखकर पुलिस बैकफुट पर आ गई। दूसरी ओर उपद्रवियों ने आसपास के होटल, पेट्रोल पंप को भी नहीं बख्शा। नैनीताल रोड, सिब्बल सिनेमा, रोडवेज के आसपास की दुकानों में लूटपाट कर आग लगा दी। इस बीच इंदिरा चौक पर दूसरे समुदाय के लोग भी पहुंच गए। दोनों समुदाय के लोगों ने एक-दूसरे पर पथराव शुरू कर दिया। हालात बिगड़ते देख पुलिस ने हवाई फायरिंग शुरू कर दी। कोतवाली के पास दोनों पक्ष आमने-सामने हो गए। एक पक्ष के लोग सीरगोटिया की तरफ दुकानों की छतों पर थे, तो रम्पुरा वाले सड़क पर जमा हो गए थे। दोनों पक्षों के बीच जमकर पथराव हुआ। इस बीच हथगोले और तेजाब भरे बल्ब भी फेंके

घायल के किच्छा में दम तोड़ने से माहौल गरमाया

जाका, किच्छा: रुद्रपुर में गोली लगने से घायल एक व्यक्ति का शव ग्राम सिरोली कलां में लाने से माहौल गर्मा गया। अफवाह फैल गई कि मरने वाला सिरोली का है। इस पर बड़ी संख्या में लोग ग्राम सिरोली में एकत्र हो गये। बाद में पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया।

रुद्रपुर में गोली लगने से घायल खेड़ा के दो लोगों को उपचार के लिए बरेली ले जाया जा रहा था। उनमें से अब्दुल रहमान पुत्र लईक मियां उम्र 50 वर्ष ने देवरिया के पास दम तोड़ दिया। इस पर उसके शव को ग्राम सिरोली कलां में परिजन ग्राम प्रधान के घर पर छोड़ घायल रिजवान 15 वर्ष को लेकर बरेली निकल गये। शव के ग्राम सिरोली कलां के व्यक्ति के मारे जाने की अफवाह चारों तरफ आग की तरह फैल गई। इस पर बड़ी संख्या में लोग ग्राम प्रधान के निवास पर एकत्र हो गये। सूचना मिलने पर एसएसआइ जसवंत सिंह भी पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंच गये। पुलिस को देख लोग भड़क उठे। एसएसआइ ने बामुश्किल उनको शांत किया। तब तक मृतक के परिवार वाले भी वहां पर पहुंच गये। सबको समझा-बुझाकर पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए हल्द्वानी भेज दिया।

जागरण कार्यालय, गदरपुर: रुद्रपुर में धर्मग्रंथ के अपमान पर आक्रोशित लोग सड़क पर उतर आए। उन्होंने घटना की कड़ी निंदा की। बाद में व्यापार मंडल के सहयोग से बाजार बंद करा दिया तथा प्रदर्शन करते हुए थाने पहुंचे। लोगों ने मुख्यमंत्री के नाम का ज्ञापन एसडीएम को दिया, जिसमें दोषी लोगों की शीघ्र गिरफ्तारी की माग की गई।

रुद्रपुर में धर्मग्रंथ के अपमान पर रविवार को मुस्लिम नेता गुलाम गौस, डॉ. वली अहमद, मो. आलम, एडवोकेट सुभान अहमद, मास्टर मो. यूनुस आदि ने घटना की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करते हुए सभी वर्गो के लोगों से शांति बनाये रखने की अपील की। इससे पूर्व लोग तकिये वाली मस्जिद में एकत्र हुए। वहां से गूलरभोज मोड़ पर व्यापार मंडल अध्यक्ष अशोक छाबड़ा व अन्य लोगों के साथ शांति मार्च निकालते हुए बाजार बंद कराया। फिर सभी लोग थाने पहुंचे। वहां एसडीएम पीआर चौहान का घेराव कर मुख्यमंत्री को संबोधित ज्ञापन दिया। उसमें रुद्रपुर प्रकरण के आरोपियों की शीघ्र गिरफ्तारी की मांग की गई। उन्होंने पुलिस को 24 घंटे का अल्टीमेटम दिया। उनका कहना था कि यदि पुलिस ने 24 घंटे में आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी नहीं की तो वे सड़क पर उतरेंगे। उधर एसआइ नासिर हुसैन व मनमोहन रावत के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम ने नगर में शांति व्यवस्था कायम रखने के लिए फ्लैग मार्च किया। इस दौरान जुल्फिकार अली, संजीव अरोरा, नासिर हुसैन, लेखराज नागपाल, महेंद्र सुखीजा, सिद्धार्थ भुसरी, मौलाना कारी सईदुल हसन, शाहिद हुसैन, याकूब, नासिर हुसैन, सिराजुद्दीन, मो. जीशान, शफीक बाबा, मोहब्बे अली आदि थे।

जिला बार एसोसिएशन ने की सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द बनाये रखने की अपील

गदरपुर: इनसानियत व शांति के देवता गांधी जी की जयंती के मौके पर रुद्रपुर की घटना की जिला बार एसोसिएशन के उपाध्यक्ष सुबहान अहमद एडवोकेट ने कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करते हुए दोषियों की शीघ्र गिरफ्तारी की मांग की। उन्होंने क्षेत्र के सभी वर्गो से अमन-चैन व शांति बनाये रखने की अपील की। उन्होंने कहा कि कुछ अराजक तत्व क्षेत्र के अमन-चैन के माहौल को खराब करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं। इसको किसी भी कीमत पर बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जायेगा। उन्होंने प्रशासन से भी अपील की कि ऐसे लोगों को चिह्नित कर उनके खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाये, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी घटना की पुनरावृत्ति न हो सके।

Indian Muslims demanded protection of lives of Muslims from the government

New Delhi: A high-level delegation of eminent Muslim organizations met Union Home Minister P Chidambaram at his North Block office here on Saturday (8th October). The leaders demanded immediate halt to the communal violence in Rudrapur town of Uttarakhand and establishment of peace. They also demanded compensation for the victim families and legal action against the culprits.

The delegation comprising Syed Babar Ashraf (Secretary, All India Ulema Mashaikh Board), Yaseen Akhtar Misbahi (Raza Academy, New Delhi), Maulana Ghulam Abdul Qaudir Habibi (MOI) ,Maulana Ali darimi of Sunni Jamiatul Ulema Kerala and Adv. Shahnawaz Warsi (General Secretary, Muslim Students Organization of India –MSO) submitted a memorandum to the home minister demanding safety and security of lives and dignity of Muslims in Rudrapur, a compensation of Rs 20 lakh each to the family of deceased, Rs 5 lakh each to the injured and proper compensation after enquiry to those whose shops and homes were looted and destroyed. They also demanded legal action on those who incited the violence.

“In this riot one of the most important points is that this is first such kind of communal riot in this whole region before or after the Independence. In which many innocent people lost their lives and hundreds of them got injuries as well as several dozen of shops and houses have been looted in the broad day light. The riot was preplanned by some communal elements, they instigated by tearing down the Holy Book of Muslims, Quran and keeping it wrapped in blood at a Shiv Mandir. When some Muslims complained it to the Police and demanded stern action they were refused and Police did not take any action. Then after passing of two days on 2nd Oct when Muslims again went to complain, then their Holy Book was again desecrated by Communal elements. Thereafter started Lathi charge, direct Police firing without use of water canon or tear gas and looting and burning of shops, all belonging to Muslim community,” says the memorandum.

“Local newspapers have reported and shown faces of rioters along with Policemen. It shows that they were shooting, looting and putting on fire the Muslims and their property. Curfew was imposed in only Muslim areas allowing miscreants to do whatever they can do at their will,” it added.

Demands:

1. Ensure the safety and security of its citizens specially civilians of Rudrapur and protect the life property and dignity.

2. Initiate a high level inquiry into the whole incident to inquire the role of local Police, local communal organizations and of politicians.

3. Provide at least Rs 20 lac in compensation or govt. job to a next family member of the victims killed in the riot and Rs 5 lac to each of those who have suffered injuries and proper compensation to those whose shops and home have been set on fire or have been looted.

4. Government must ensure at least 20% representation of Muslim Community in the Police and paramilitary forces deployed during Communal riots.

5. Harsh punishment should be given through fast track courts to all those involved in starting and planning riot and are involved in killing, rioting and looting the life and property of victims.

6. Confidence building measures from the Centre Government, to send a high level delegation of Ministers to meet and realize the seriousness of the riot.

7. Immediate release of innocent students picked up by Police from the Madarsa Ghosia Rudrapur and withdrawing of charges against innocent Muslims.

8. Inquiry into all the recent blind Police firing on Muslims whether it may be Forbesganj (Bihar), Gopalgadh (Rajasthan) or Rudrapur (Uttarakhand).

 

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री से की उच्च स्तरीय जांच की मांग जाका,

किच्छा: मुस्लिम संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों ने केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री पी चिदंबरम से मुलाकात कर रुद्रपुर दंगे की उच्च स्तरीय जांच की मांग की। उन्होंने मृतकों के परिजनों को बीस-बीस लाख मुआवजे क…ी मांग के साथ ही जान माल की सुरक्षा की गुहार की। संसद भवन में श्री चिदंबरम से मुलाकात कर प्रतिनिधियों ने आठ सूत्रीय ज्ञापन सौंप रुद्रपुर के दंगे को सुनियोजित साजिश करार दिया। उन्होंने कहा इसकी उच्च स्तरीय जांच कर फास्ट ट्रैक कोर्ट में सुनवाई की जानी चाहिये। प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने मंत्रियों के समूह का गठन कर पीडि़तों से मुलाकात कर दंगे की गंभीरता को जानने के लिए भेजने की भी मांग की। इस मौके पर रजा एकेडमी दिल्ली के अध्यक्ष मौलाना यासीन अख्तर मिसबाही, आल इंडिया उलेमा मशाईख बोर्ड के सचिव सैय्यद बाबर अशरफ, किच्छा निवासी मुस्लिम स्टूडेंट आर्गनाइजेशन ऑफ इंडिया के महासचिव शाहनवाज मलिक वारसी आदि मौजूद थे।

Rudrapur Riots:Madarsa Students arrested by Police from Masjid

According to Inquilab Daily news Paper of 6th oc t2o11 Police arrested atleast 35 Muslim Students of Madarsa Ghosia from inside jama Masjid Rudrapur.

Ulema Mashikh BoardSecretary Syed Babar Ashraf have demanded immediate release of these students from the Police custody.He said that it highly biased on the part of Police to arrest Muslim Students from the Madarsa where as allowing free roaming to Looters and Violators of Curfew.

जागरण कार्यालय, किच्छा: रुद्रपुर में दंगे के बाद स्थिति का जायजा लेने जाते ऑल इंडिया इत्तेहाद-ए-मिल्लत काउंसिल के अध्यक्ष मौलाना तौकीर रजा खां के काफिले को पुलिस ने उत्तर प्रदेश की सीमा पर रोक दिया। मिल्लत के गुस्साए कार्यकर्ता सड़क जाम कर धरने पर बैठ गये। तहसीलदार सितारगंज के दो दिन बाद रसद बांटने के आश्वासन पर मौलाना तौकीर बरेली लौट गये।

दोपहर लगभग दो बजे मौलाना तौकीर रजा खां मिल्लत के यूपी अध्यक्ष डॉ. नफीस समेत 80 कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ 10 कारों के काफिले से बॉर्डर पर पहुंचे। सीओ कपकोट उत्तम सिंह नेगी व तहसीलदार सितारगंज सुंदर सिंह तोमर के नेतृत्व में पुलिस बल बॉर्डर पर डेरा डाले था। उनके पहुंचने पर पुलिस ने उनके काफिले को अपने घेरे में ले लिया। डॉ. नफीस ने प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों से दंगाग्रस्त क्षेत्रों को देखने की मांग की। तहसीलदार श्री तोमर ने उत्तराखंड में प्रवेश करने की इजाजत न देने की बात कही। इस पर मिल्लत कार्यकर्ताओं ने गिरफ्तारी देने का प्रयास किया, परंतु प्रशासन लगातार उन पर लौटने का दबाव बनाता रहा। गुस्साए कार्यकर्ता बीचोबीच सड़क पर धरना देने बैठ गये। हल्द्वानी से पहुंचे पीस पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता भी उनके साथ धरने पर बैठ गये। इससे एक बार टकराव की स्थिति बन गई। माहौल गर्माता देख तहसीलदार श्री तोमर ने मौलाना तौकीर रजा से क्षेत्र में अमन-चैन के लिए लौटने का आग्रह किया। लगभग एक घंटे तक काफी जद्दोजहद के बाद मौलाना तौकीर रजा दो दिन बाद रसद बांटने की अनुमति का आश्वासन मिलने पर लौटने पर राजी हो गये।

घटनाक्रम पर रही उच्चाधिकारियों की पैनी नजर

किच्छा: मौलाना तौकीर रजा के दौरे को प्रशासन ने गंभीरता से लिया। उनको सीमा पर रोके जाने से लेकर उनके लौटने तक उच्चाधिकारी लगातार वहां मौजूद तहसीलदार व सीओ से लगातार मोबाइल पर संपर्क साधे रहे।

तैयारी से था पुलिस बल

किच्छा: टकराव की स्थिति को देखते हुए पुलिस बल पूरी तैयारी के साथ बॉर्डर पर तैनात था। अनहोनी की आशंका के मद्देनजर पुलिस बल रबर बुलेट गन से लेकर अन्य हथियारों से लैस था।

डेढ़ घंटे तक बॉर्डर पर रही अफरा-तफरी

किच्छा: बॉर्डर पर मौलाना तौकीर रजा को रोकने के बाद उनके काफिले में शामिल वाहनों को रोकने के लिए पुलिस की बैरीकेडिंग से जाम लग गया। इससे दोनों तरफ वाहनों की लंबी कतारें लग गई।

भारी पुलिस फोर्स देख खुद नियंत्रित हुआ यातायात

किच्छा: बॉर्डर पर अक्सर व्यापार कर चौकी पर चालकों द्वारा वाहन आड़े-तिरछे खड़ा कर देने की परंपरा बन गई थी, परंतु मंगलवार को भारी पुलिस बल के कारण वाहन चालक स्वयं अपनी हद में रहे। इससे मौलाना तौकीर रजा के लौटने पर यातायात आसानी से सुचारु हो गया।

डीएम ने दिए बॉर्डर पर तैनात रहने के निर्देश

किच्छा: मौलाना तौकीर के लौटने के बाद भी प्रशासन ने राहत की सांस नहीं ली। जिलाधिकारी ने तहसीलदार श्री तोमर को निर्देश देकर पुलिस बल को बॉर्डर पर बने रहने के निर्देश दिये। इस कारण पुलभट्टा चौकी प्रभारी एमएमएस बिष्ट के नेतृत्व में पुलिस बल मौके पर डटा रहा।

सुनियोजित साजिश का नतीजा है दंगा

किच्छा: पीस पार्टी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सैयद शकील अहमद ने रुद्रपुर दंगे को भाजपा और कांग्रेस की साजिश का हिस्सा बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि दोनों दलों ने सुनियोजित तरीके से तय रणनीति के तहत दंगा कराया।

बरेली मार्ग के एक होटल में पत्रकारों से वार्ता में श्री अहमद ने कहा कि भाजपा मोदी के एजेंडे को भाजपा शासित प्रदेशों में लागू कर पुन: सत्ता में लौटने का षड्यंत्र रच रही है।,जिसे पीस पार्टी कभी पूरा नहीं होने देगी। उन्होंने घटना की मजिस्ट्रेटी जांच, मृतकों के परिजनों को 25-25 लाख रुपये मुआवजे व आगजनी के शिकार लोगों को आर्थिक सहायता देने की मांग की। कहा कि पीस पार्टी को भाजपा और कांग्रेस में व्याप्त भ्रष्टाचार के कारण व्यापक समर्थन मिल रहा है। उन्होंने उत्तराखंड की सभी विधानसभा सीटों पर प्रत्याशी खड़ा करने का एलान किया। साथ ही संगठन को मजबूत करने के लिए रिजवान मलिक को जिलाध्यक्ष मनोनीत किया। इस दौरान प्रदेश कोषाध्यक्ष संध्या शर्मा, हल्द्वानी मंडल अध्यक्ष मुख्तियार अहमद अंसारी आदि मौजूद थे।

सपाइयों ने बांटी खाद्य सामग्री

रुद्रपुर/किच्छा: सपा के प्रमुख महासचिव अब्दुल मतीन सिद्दीकी के नेतृत्व में एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल आइजी राम सिंह मीणा से मिला। उन्होंने आइजी से दोषियों पर ही कार्रवाई की मांग की। कहा कि घटना के कारणों की जांच कर साजिश व संरक्षणकर्ताओं के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए। प्रतिनिधियों ने मोहल्ला खेड़ा, भदईपुरा, पहाड़गंज, सीर गौटिया आदि क्षेत्रों में लोगों का हाल जाना और उनको खाद्य सामग्री वितरित की। श्री सिद्दीकी ने लोगों की समस्याएं सुनकर उनको हरसंभव मदद का भरोसा दिलाया। प्रतिनिधिमंडल में उस्मान अंसारी, अरशद अयूब, हाजी महमूद, गंगा जायसवाल, रेहान अंसारी, जमील मिकरानी, हाजी शाकिर मिकरानी, सुलेमान अंसारी, नगर अध्यक्ष इकबाल कुरैशी, संजय गुप्ता, जुबैर खान, इस्लाम मिकरानी, सलीम अंसारी शामिल थे। इससे पूर्व किच्छा में दंगा प्रभावित परिवारों के लिए लोगों ने रसद सामग्री एकत्र कर रवाना की। क‌र्फ्यू में ढील के बाद ग्राम सिरोली कलां में गत दिवस एकत्र की गई राहत सामग्री तीन वाहनों में भरकर रुद्रपुर रवाना की गई। इस दौरान आसिफ मलिक, सईदुल रहमान, एमयू खान, शकील अहमद, हासिम खां, हफीज मलिक, इकबाल मलिक, हफीज अहमद, हाजी इंतखाफ, असलम मास्टर आदि मौजूद थे।

रिमांड पर पहुंचे कैदी फिर भेजे जेल

जागरण कार्यालय, रुद्रपुर: शहर में क‌र्फ्यू से अदालत भी अछूती नहीं रही। रिमांड अवधि समाप्त होने के बाद हल्द्वानी उप कारागार से लाए गए कैदियों को कोर्ट में पेश किया गया। मगर हाईकोर्ट के सरकुलर के आधार पर अवकाश घोषित होने की वजह से कैदियों को पुन: जेल भेज दिया गया। इधर तारीख के मामले में असमंजस में पड़े वादकारी दिन भर अपने-अपने अधिवक्ताओं से संपर्क में लगे रहे। अलबत्ता अवकाश के बावजूद कोर्ट में रिमांड मजिस्ट्रेट एवं न्यायिक अधिकारी कार्यो का निस्तारण करेंगे।

दंगा भड़कने के बाद शहर में लगे क‌र्फ्यू का जिला न्यायालय में व्यापक असर पड़ा है। वाहनों के साथ ही लोगों की आवाजाही पर कड़ा प्रतिबंध लग जाने से अधिकांश वादकारी तो कोर्ट में पहुंच भी नहीं पा रहे हैं। मंगलवार को हल्द्वानी कारागार में बंद मुल्जिमों को रिमांड अवधि समाप्त होने पर जिला न्यायालय में पेशी को लाया गया। मगर क‌र्फ्यू की वजह से अवकाश घोषित हो जाने पर कैदियों को वापस कारागार भेज दिया गया। दरअसल, उच्च न्यायालय से पूर्व में जारी सरकुलर के तहत क‌र्फ्यूग्रस्त जनपद अथवा शहर स्थित जिला न्यायालय में अवकाश का प्रावधान है। ऐसे में जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश जयदेव सिंह ने कोर्ट में अवकाश की घोषणा कर दी।

यूपी पुलिस लौटी बैरंग

रुद्रपुर: रामपुर से हत्यारोपी कैदी को जिला न्यायालय में पेशी के लिए लेकर शहर पहुंची यूपी पुलिस को क‌र्फ्यू के चलते बैरंग लौटना पड़ा। इंदिरा चौक में पुलिस कर्मियों को क‌र्फ्यू की सूचना मिली तो वे आरोपी को लेकर लौट गए। स्थानीय पुलिस ने उन्हें जिले से लगी सीमा तक छोड़ा।

क‌र्फ्यू में कैसे बीता समय, मत पूछो

तीन दिन कैसे बीते, मत पूछो। मेरे परिवार को दोस्त ने शरण दी तो कुछ ने कहा-फैक्ट्री से अब निकले हैं। हम सीधे घर जा रहे हैं। क‌र्फ्यू में दो घंटे की ढील मिलने पर परिवार या साथियों के साथ शहर से बाहर जाने वाले अधिकांश लोग कुछ ऐसा ही बोले। उनके चेहरे पर तीन दिनों की पीड़ा साफ झलक रही थी।

शहर के भदईपुरा समेत संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों से दो अक्टूबर को महात्मा गांधी के जन्मदिन पर सुबह घरों से सिडकुल की फैक्ट्री को निकले व काम पर जाने के लिए तैयार हो रहे लोगों को नहीं पता था कि वे जहां हैं, वहीं फंसे रह जाएंगे। हिंसा व आगजनी के बाद अन्य शहरों से आए तमाम लोग भी होटलों में फंसे रहे। हालांकि कुछ पैदल अन्य रास्तों से निकलने में कामयाब रहे, लेकिन बुधवार को रोडवेज बस स्टैंड हो या काशीपुर रोड पर यूपी सीमा व गदरपुर को पैदल निकल रहे लोग जितनी जल्दी हो सके, शहर से बाहर निकलना चाह रहे थे। उनमें छोटे-छोटे बच्चों के साथ महिलाएं भी कम नहीं थीं।

शहर छोड़ने वाले लोगों में रामपुर के सुल्तान व राजपाल ने कहा कि वे शहर के शिवनगर में परिवार के साथ किराए पर रह रहे हैं। वे बेलदारी करते हैं। तीन दिनों में उसके सामने रोजी-रोटी का संकट उत्पन्न हो गया। अब वे रामपुर लौट रहे हैं। पूर्व माध्यमिक विद्यालय सब्जी मंडी में सहायक अध्यापक शेर मोहम्मद ने रोडवेज बस में बच्चों को बिठाने के बाद बताया कि वह स्कूल कैंपस में ही रहते हैं। दहशत के कारण उनका परिवार घटना के बाद ही गांधी कालोनी में दोस्त अजीज खां के यहां चला गया। तीन दिन कैसे बिताए, मत पूछो। बच्चे परेशान हो गए तो बस से बच्चों को बहेड़ी भेज रहे हैं।

सिडकुल की सिटीजन फैक्ट्री में श्रमिक वीरेंद्र, परविंद्र, विनोद प्रसाद अपने घर हरदोई जाने के लिए जल्द से जल्द कैंप में किराए के कमरे में पैदल ही जा रहे थे। उन्होंने बताया कि तीन दिन से फैक्ट्री में फंसे थे। अब वे दो घंटों के भीतर ही जरूरी सामान समेटकर तत्काल हरदोई के लिए निकलना चाहते हैं।

उधर, सिरौली, बरेली के नवीन भी संवेदनशील खेड़ा से निकल गए। उन्होंने बताया कि वह बरेली के लिए बस पकड़ने आए हैं। दूसरी तरफ, काशीपुर रोड पर रेलवे स्टेशन व यूपी सीमा की ओर पैदल बच्चों के साथ निकलने वालों की संख्या खासी रही। उनकी आंखों में पहली बार तीन दिनों में क‌र्फ्यू की पीड़ा साफ झलक रही थी। वह शहर में शांति, अमन, चैन आने के बाद ही लौटना चाह रहे थे। बहरहाल, पहली बार दंगे की पीड़ा लोगों के चेहरे पर साफ झलक रही थी।

Sufi Islamic sect warns against

spread of Wahabi extremism

The All-India Ulama & Mashaikh Board (AIUMB), a Sufi Islamic branch claiming to represent 80 per cent of Indian Sunni Muslims, has come out strongly against hardline Wahabism, holding the ideology responsible for the radicalisation of young Indian Muslims. The AIUMB counts itself among the significant Sufi Khanquahs in India, among them Ajmer Shareef and Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya.

“Wahabi-influenced terrorism has taken a section of Indian Muslim youth in its grip,” said Maulana Syed Mohd Ashraf Kachochavi, AIUMB general secretary at a press conference on Wednesday. He said the AIUMB would hold a Muslim Maha Panchyat at Moradabad (on October 16) from where a call would be given to the masses to rescue Islam and Muslims from the clutches of Wahabi extremism which was sustained largely by (Saudi) petro dollars.

CASH-RICH ORGANISATIONS

“Peace-loving Sufi Muslims are in a huge majority in this country but regrettably the major Islamic institutions, including the Waqf Boards and the Madrasas, are under the control of cash-rich organisations practising hardline ideologies. We want to reclaim Islam from these elements and turn our youth away from the path of extremism and towards harmony and co-existence,” the Maulana said.

‘SECULAR FABRIC’

“The Wahabi hardliners are spending billions of dollars to hurt the democratic and secular fabric of this country built over centuries through peaceful activities of the Sufi saints.”

AGGRESSIVE AND HARDLINE

Asked if he would include Darul Uloom Deoband and the All-India Muslim Personal Law Board among institutions responsible for the spread of extremism, the Maulana, somewhat indirectly, agreed with the questioner, saying they subscribed to an ideology that was aggressive and hardline.

The Maulana said the time had come for Muslims to send a message out to the government that “moderate Muslims will guard Indian soil against the influence of [Saudi] petro dollars.”

सय्यद अशरफ ने बताया की बोर्ड अखंडता और मैत्री के सन्देश को जोकि उसको सूफिस्म से मिला है समस्त राष्ट्र में फैलाएगा ताकि नफरतें मिट सके और सामाजिक सद्भाव बढे.

उक्त मुस्लिम महापंचायत मैं तमाम सूफी दरगाहों के सज्जादा नशीं और उलेमा हजरात दिल्ली,ह्यदेरबाद,केरला, मरेहरा बरेली ,बदायूं ,भागलपुर ,अजमेर शरीफ से तशरीफ़ लायेंगे .

The sister concernsof wahabi organizations are trapped in dual war one with media and another with the Sunni Muslims on the ground.Now People are asking questions to Darul uloom regarding their Wahabi links after a very successful Massive coming out of Moderate voice of Indian Muslim Community in Muslim Mahapanchayat  by the AIUMB at Moradabad on 16th Oct 20011.

Darul Uloom Deoband has issued a statement by its rector denying,receiving any foreign fund for running the Madarsa Darul Uloom deoband.

They categorically denied receiving any fund from the Indian government also.Now the question arises Can the Darul uloom afford to run with out receiving any fund from both?

Commentingon this Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Naeemi of AIUMB Delhi state said that even a deobandi will not believe it that its several crores expenditures are only funded by the Deobandis from India only.

The Maulana said that we dont have any fight with any one but it is a matter of Identity.Here ,in India different communities live with their own identity.Shias,Bohras,Khojas,live with  their own identity.They do their practices and feel proud in calling themselves by their names but wahabis in India hide their identity in the guise of different names such as salafis/Ahle Hadiths/Deobandis etc and uses the identity of Sunni Muslims  but practices the Saudi version of Islam thus snatching the benefits given by the government coming in the name of larger soceity of Indian Muslims i.e Sunni sufi Muslims.

Sahafat Urdu of 19 and 20 oct along with sahara Urdu have started ranting against Sufi Muslims on their front pages in a very usua way.The few hardcore wahabi elements shown by the Urdu daily Sahafat in the New Delhi  edition of 20th oct carries a story titled,”Millat-e-islamia me Tafreek Paida Karne wale Quran aur Hadeeth se lailm” meant People creating differences in the Muslim society does not know the Quran and Hadith.

Arshad Madani Tandwi of Jamiatul Ulema-e-Hind spoke on behalf of Deoband and tries to clarify that Deoband is not centre of extremism .Most surprsingly when Sunninews contacted  AIUMB officials, what was their opinion about the views published in Sahafat on 19 th oct  that AIUMB          was   creating differences among the Muslim community,the Board official said that they have sent an official Press statement to the Urdu press but they did not Publish .

commenting on this Mr.Raees Ahmed a resident of transyamuna Delhi said that Urdu Media and particularly Sahara,Sahafat ,Hamara Samaj and Hindustan express are dominated by the same wahabis who are sympathetic to Deonandis thats why the news and views of Sunni Sufi community rarely find place in the Urdu Media.the situation becomes more difficult when there is any issue of Sunni,Wahabi debates   then  theeditors and Urdu Journalist ensures that there should be full protection of Wahabi ideology.They willingly boycots the news from the sufi section and publishes news of Wahabi leaders on the front pages.

Moradabad: Addressing a huge gathering on the name of Muslim Mahapanchayat Maulana Syed Ahmad Kachhochhwi, president All India Ulema and Mashaikh Board said that if the problem of Muslims will not solved our agitation and movement will continue.

Muslims are even poorer than Dalit and this all because of Government negligence. Maulana said that if the Government is really serious in this regard there should the arrangement of reservation for Muslims in education as well as in job. He demanded Government to imlemet Central Madrasa Board. Here it should be noted that there are large number of Ulema who are against this move.

Maulana said that the day to say riots in India have send Muslims in depression and the so called secular leader are doing nothing. He demanded from the Governmnet to take action against those who are behind the Bharatpur and Rudrapur riots and assure the safety of Muslims India.

He said that today we are here to join our hands and decide that what we should do for our welfare and safety in this country. He said India is our country and we all should love this country it is our duty to work for the maintenance of peace here and the Government should also take step for our security.

Addressing the mass gathering Maulana said that we are not here creates any misconception among Muslims we are here to demand for our rights. He said that our main demand is to implement Madrasa Board, start modern education in Madrasa, reservation for Muslims in education and jobs, handed over the waqf Property to Sunni Sufi Muslims. Maulana said that the huge gathering here show that we are very serious for reservation for other rights that should be given to us by the Government.

a very welcome step. If muslims come out in support of a moderate 
approach and take a pro-developmenmt path, then I think no one should stop them in doing so. though they may have to fight amongst their own factions as well as some political vested interests, but this spring of  development oriented political, patriotism oriented social and secularism oriented religious approach must be welcomed and supported. If the beliefs are genuine and well promoted, they may result in further cohesion in Indian society.

Moderate Sunnis in India and Pakistan try to understand one thing that despite their majority in south asia, they have been sidelined by radical Wahabis in both countries because they have let them.

Nice to read the news that says Maulana is taking a move to save islam from the clutch of Wahabism and Deobondism. I appreciate the move and agree that many muslims, let it be Shia or Sunni, do not like hard core islamists. But to take Maulana as a Sufi leader, again becomes little awkward. The attire of Maulana Sahab is a mismatch with sufi pirs. The sufi leaders are very simple and never live a luxury life! They are totally devoted to the well-being of humans and remain immersed in the love of God. May be, Maulana sahab is bringing a movement of modernization of sufism! Anyway, the initiative is welcomed very much!!!

Congratulations on this Mahapanchayat. It is not too late to fight the terrorist Saudis dedicated to world domination by the sect favored by their ruling families. Look at the results of this trend in Pakistan–intersect massacres, bombings and assassinations. Sunnis killing Shi’as. Shi’as taking revenge. Wahhabism/deobandism is behind all of it. Not even in the fabled Sufi city of Multan are the Shi’as and the Sufis safe.

This is an excellent message. I hope it rings loudly in Pakistan too. Sufi Islam has drunk deep at the well of Hinduism also; for example the concept of Kundalini Shakti and Nirvaan are imbibed in Sufism. Wahabism is a desert cruelty used as an islamic ideology to keep the saudi puppets in power.

Major TV Channels like CNN, BBC and others whose programs are available in many parts of the world are reported to be spending over US $ 1 billion as annual recurring expenses.

Muslims have expressed serious concern over the alleged role of Christian missionaries in converting young Kashmiri Muslim boys and girls to Christianity.

Idara Tahqeeqat-e-Imam Ahmad Raza Kashmir ,General Secretary ,Advocate Mudasir Naqshbandi, addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said some Christian missionaries are trying to alter the Muslim majority character of Jammu and Kashmir at the behest of America and Israel. “We ask Muslims who have fallen for the trap of these missionaries and converted to Christianity to present themselves before Ulema before Eid-ul-Azha, and seek repentance from Allah,” he said.
“ Otherwise, Idara Tahqeeqate-e-Imam Ahmad Raza Baramulla Kashmir will convene a joint session of Ulema and Muftis on November 11 and issue a fatwa(decree) for social boycott against these converts,”
He said the Ulema and the people Of J&K will not remain silent over the activities of Christian missionaries. “ They are luring young Muslims with money to convert and we will go to any extent to stop their activities,” he said.
Mudasir Naqshbandi said, being a Muslim majority state, liquor should have been banned in Jammu and Kashmir. “Instead, the government under a well planned conspiracy is promoting liquor among youth ,”
He said it was ironic that the government had allowed a liquor shop opposite the Children’s hospital in Sonawar. “If the government doesn’t revoke the license of the liquor shop, would take to the streets,” he said.
He appealed youth to follow the footsteps of Hazrat Amir Kabeer, Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani, Sarkary Ala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza (Alhi Rehma)and fight the conspiracies being hatched against Islam.

Finally Malegaon accused got bail , AIUMB demanded immediate release

Mumbai: After four years in jail, all the 9 accused in Malegaon 2006 blast, got a breather when a special MCOCA court on Saturday granted bail them a bail. They will be released on Tuesday.

The court granted bail to the accused after the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is currently investigating the case, told the court that it won’t oppose the bail pleas of the accused.

“After due deliberations a decision was taken on the basis of facts and circumstances, not to oppose the bail applications of all the nine accused who were earlier arrested and charge-sheeted,” the agency told the MACOCA court.

Explaining its decision not to oppose the bail plea of the accused, the NIA argued before the court, that after the confession made by Swami Aseemanand about the involvement of Right wing Hindutva organisations in the 2006 Malegaon blast, it had recovered new documentary and oral evidences and also “reviewed the evidences” which the CBI and Maharashtra ATS had collected, while investigating the case.

While praying for their bail before the court the nine accused, all of them Muslims, said, “From the confession, it is clear that those responsible for the 2006 Malegaon blasts, are persons far removed from the current accused.”

Highlighting the fact that they have been in jail for the past four years, the accused said “there is no direct evidence of their involvement in the said offence and it was only based on the forcibly-taken confession statement”.

Nine Muslim youths- Salman Farsi, Shabir Ahmed, Noorulhuda Doha, Rais Ahmed, Mohammed Ali, Asif Khan, Javed Sheikh, Faroogue Ansari and Abrar Ahmed — were arrested on the alleged charges of master minding the blast.

The nine accused had applied for bail after Swami Aseemanand’s confession indicated towards right-wing group’s involvement in the blast.

Bomb blasts rocked Hamidia mosque in the Bada Kabristan area in Malegaon, on September 8, 2006 after Shabe-baraat prayer.

The investigation of Malegaon 2006 bomb blast took a radical turn after Swami Aseemanand, who was arrested in Ajmer and Samjhauta blasts, confessed that the 2006 Malegaon blast was also the handiwork of Hindu Rightwing terrorists.

After Assemanand’s confession early this year, there was huge pressure on the investigative agencies as well as the political leadership of the Congress party, both at the center as well as in Maharashtra, to release the Muslim accused. But the case got caught in investigative and legal formalities.

For instance even before the NIA, two other investigative agencies, Maharashtra ATS and the CBI investigated into the case and had also filed chargesheet against the accused but the entire case was demolished after Aseemanand’s confession.

Even after the stand of the CBI, that it was not against the bail plea of the Muslim youths arrested in the case, the MACOCA court refused to grant them bail because of the procedural reason; because in March 2011, the case was transferred to the NIA which started the investigation afresh.

Reacting on the Bail Order ,AIUMB, an apex body of Sunni Muslims said,

We welcome the order of the special court to grant bail to all the 9 accused in the 2006 Malegaon blast case.

Our heart goes out to the families of all these ‘victims’ of communal witch-hunt, and we salute their patience.

But as per the media reports, it seems they will have to wait till tuesday before they are released from the jail. Having already spent over four years in custody, these young men will still be unable to celebrate Eid-ul-Zuha (Monday) with their families.

We urge the administration and government concerned to please ensure this is avoided and justice is delivered in its true sense.
If needed, please make an exception, as messages like these are important confidence-building measures.

We request all justice and peace loving patriots not to celebrate Eid till these innocent boys are released.

Now Darul Uloom Deoband has created a new fitnah by commenting against celebration of MILAD of Hazrat Muhammad Salallahoalaihiwassalam.The rector of Deoband Maulana Abul Qasim Nomani said that Celebration of Milad is forbidden at Darul Uloom Deoband and celebration of Sir Syed Day at Aligarh Muslim University ,Aligarh is not allowed in Islam (read in wahabism).
Actually Deoband which imports wahabi salafism from saudi Arabia ,tries to create schism in the Muslim community by issuing such fatwas which are against established rules of Islam.
This statement is also once again an attempt to create a new fitnah among the Muslims who all over the world Passionately celebrates and observe the day of Nabi Kareem .

Reacting sharply on the above said statement Syed Muhammad Ashraf,General Secretary of All India Ulema and Mashaikh Board ,an apex body of majority Sunni Muslims ,said that Deoband is neither followed in India,nor anywhere of the world. We along with majority of Indian Muslims rejects this fatwa and would like to said that each and evry small town of the country will celebrate this Festival as is the practice since hundreds of year. The All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board (AIUMB), a leading body ofSunni Sufi Muslims, rejected the fatwa issued by Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Deoband against celebration of birthdays, including that of Prophet Muhammad.

AIUMB General Secretary Maulana Syed Ashraf Kichhouchhvi said, “The birth of the Prophet is the greatest favour of Allah on humanity. So, Muslims celebrate the Prophet’s birth anniversary with traditional zeal on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal.” He said some “mischievous elements devoid of spiritualism” are trying to impose a foreign ideology on Indian Muslims.

Earlier, Deoband vice-chancellor Maulana Abul Qasim Nomani had said celebrating birthdays is part of the Western culture and against Sharia. He also said the Islamic seminary does not celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed either.

Prof S Irfan Habib, who holds the Maulana Azad Chair at Delhi’s National University of Educational Planning and Administration, said, “Why should we take such fatwas seriously? These dos and don’ts are Wahabi innovations. Vested interests are attempting to infuse such consciousness to spread Wahabism.”

The Prophet’s birthday is a public holiday in 54 countries, including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. “Israel and Saudi Arabia are the only countries in the Middle East who do not recognize Mawlid an-Nabi (the Prophet’s birthday) as a national holiday,” said Maulana Kichhouchhvi.

There are historical accounts of celebration of Mawlid in Mecca and Madina before the Wahabis took over Saudi Arabia, he said.

the Darul Uloom Deoband monopoly to define Islam?

 

Deoband is neither voice of Indian Muslims nor it represents Muslims
of the world.Its fatwas have very limited significance in the country
and most of the Muslims ignores its fatwas and opinions.Would it not
have been the case ,the celebration of sir syed day at Aligarh and
in different parts of the world where Aligs resides,would have been
stopped?

thankful to Allah,the creator.

declared celebration on the occassion of birthday of holy Prophet

Even in Asia, Pakistan,Bangladesh and Indonesia conducts mass
gatherings on this event in each and evrey city.

annivarsary of Deoband Madarsa in which several Politians have
participated.Jamiat Ulema e Hind regularly leads MiladUnNabi
procession at Kanpur U.P.which proves the double standards of these

Why Taqleed Is Necessary?

A unique programme was conducted by Imam Ahmed Raza Movement-Bangalore on the topic of “Why Taqleed Is Necessary?”(Taqleed Ki Zarurat Kyun) on 24^th Oct 2011, Monday between 5.15pm to 10.30pm at Town Hall, Bangalore City-India.

The Programme was started with the recitation of Holy Quran, Mehfil-e Naat and with the introductory speech in Kannada Language by Moulana Shafi Saadi, KSSF Vice President and Member Karnataka Wakf Board, during the programme a book called “Amulets and Ruqya In Islam” (Taweezat Ki Shari Haisiat) also released.

The guest speaker Engineer Fazlulla Chishti Sabri-President Falaah Research Foundation-Delhi delivered an excellent speech on what is Taqleed, Taqleed In The Light of Quran & Ahadith, what are the necessary conditions for qualification for a Mujtahid, why there is only 4 school of Jurisprudence & are they correct, why should we follow Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki & Hambali, why should we follow only one, why Gair Muqaleed Is Wrong..? etc., at the end of his speech during Question & Answers session he gave satisfactory answers to all questions in the light of Quran & Ahadith related to Aqaid-e Ahle Sunnat and on the topic of Taqleed.

The programme was concluded by Salaat-O-Salaam (Syed Zabiulla Aamiri) and Duaa of Hazrat Moulana Syed Qamrulla Sha Noori Saheb, guests were Qazi Adare Shariah Karnataka Mufti Mohammed Aslam Saheb Misbahi, Shaikh Ul Hadees Mohammed Mujeeb Ur Rahman Barkati-Jamia Bilal and other Ullama and Dignitaries of Ahle Sunnath Wa Jamaath.

Raza Academy , today protested against United states of America on Insulting Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

A Prominent Organization of Indian Muslims Raza Academy , today protested against United states of America on Insulting Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at John F. Kennnedy Airport, New york. The activist of the Raza Academy, which had also organised a mass Rally at Azad Maidan, Mumbai in 2006 against the arrival of then President George Bush to India, send an old pair of shoes to Mr. Barack Obama,President of U.S through U.S consulate.

India must not act like  slave countries and must lodge its strong Protest by summoning the Counsel of U.S at Ministry of Foreign Affairs because it is a matter of national prestige and pride.

MSO of India to hold “”Peace Conference “” at Murshidabad

Kolkata: The Muslim Students Organisation of India (MSO) is going to hold a daylong “Peace Conference” on 20th November at SCM High School ground in Islampore area of Murshidabad district in West Bengal.

The conference will be divided into two parts. While Students Conference for youths and students will be held from 2.30. P.M to 6.00 P.M (20th Nov) the Peace Conference will be in the evening from 9.00 P.M to 4.00 A.M.

“The aim of organizing this Conference is to spread the message of Islam which is Peace for all. The Conference will focus on Sufism which teaches humanity, tolerance, respect towards other communities, Brotherhood and Communal harmony in the country,” said MSO in a statement.

The group hopes that about one lakh people will attend the Conference.

The Peace Conference will endorse the resolution of AIUMB passed at”Muslim Mahapanchayat” held last month in Moradabad of Uttar Pradesh.

According to Advocate Shahnawaz Warsi, National General Secretary, MSO, the Chief Guest of Murshidabad conference will be Allama Ziaul Mustafa Quadri, President, All India Sunni Jamiatul Ulema while Special Guest is Mualana Shoib Raza, Dargah Ala Hazrat Bareilly Shareef. Introduction

India is the land of the Sufi Saints. The Sufi ideology propagates compassion, brotherhood, love and peace which is in perfect harmony with Indian culture, traditions and its religious variety. Its teachings are the basis of our unity in diversity. All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board (AIUMB) is an apex body of Sufi Sunni Muslims, whose main objective is to strengthen patriotism and social harmony amongst the communities and to create a mass movement to attain the fundamental rights as enshrined in the Indian constitution. Sufi Sunni Muslims constitute 80% of total Muslim population in India.

All India Ulema & Mashaikh Board has been tasked to meet this wonderful challenge in a determined manner. They have clear cut agenda. It includes taking care of the needs of spiritual, cultural, educational and some times economic needs of the Muslims of India. Economic factor is supposed to be in the form of guidance to be given to the beneficiaries and the representation of their needs to all concerned institutions of the country. All its activities are absolutely apolitical in nature. Economic factor may look akin to being political in nature. But this, too, is not political. It is the call of the day. People have little time to pursue their agenda individually. Here is an organization to provide solace to them for this tricky matter, also.

Through this Mashaikh Conference held on this 26^th day of November 2011 world , in which hundred of Ulemas & Lacs of Sunni Sufi Muslims participated and passed a resolution with consensus and a message has been given to the World in which Terrorism was condemned in  very strong words because according to Holy

Quran: ‘’If You have killed one innocent person, then you have killed the whole of Humanity.’’ In the resolution Board made following demands and expects Government of India & State Governments shall sincerely undertake all the necessary steps to fulfil the legitimate and rightful demands of Sunni Sufi community .

Memorandum

1. The recommendation of the Sachar Committee must be seriously pursued and sincerely implemented. The reservation to the Muslim community must be given in accordance with the Ranganath Mishra Commission Report and it must not be less than 10%.
2. Political reservations should also be provided to Muslims to ensure their due representation.
3. The Government should allocate land for educational purpose to Muslim educational societies on a very subsidized rate /free of cost for establishing quality educational Institutions.
4. Scholarships/stipends should be made available from sixth standard onward to all the Muslim students of non creamy layer group.
5. Muslims Residential Schools and Intermediate Colleges with high quality teachers and infrastructure should be` established. There should be at least one Girl’s school/college in every Tehseel/Sub-division  and not less than three in each Muslim concentrated District.
6. Central Madarsa Board Bill should be passed as per the amendment proposed by AIUMB.
7. Dargah Act  must be framed to develop, protect and run the Dargahs as per the Sunni Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (Sunni Sufi Community) faith.
8. Sufi Circuit must be established for the development of Khanqahs & Dargahs.
9. The encroachment from the Waqf land must be removed and  it should be ensured that  recruitments must be done as per the Waqf deeds.  The govt. must not appoint any wahabi(Deobandi/Nadwi/Salafi/AhleHadith) as a Chairman/CEO/Waqf member/Mutawalli/Manager of the Sunni Waqf,who are utilising the waqf properties to propagate the Wahabism, which preaches hate and intolerance and now has become threat to the secular fabric  of the nation.
10. AIUMB which is the representative body of 80% of the Sunni Sufi community of India, should be entrusted with the job of obtaining opinion of the imminent person of Muslim community on all Muslim issues.
11. The govt. must pass the Communal Violence Bill.
12.  Universities in the name of Allama Fazle Haq Khairabadi and Aala Hazrat ,Imam Ahmed Raza Khan should be established at their native places i.e. Sitapur & Bareilly respectively.
13. National holiday should be declared on the 6th of Rajab which is the date of Urs of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz, AjmerSharif.

 

 

 

 EPILOGUE:

ü  The afore-mentioned demands submitted by the All India Ulema & Mashaikh Board related to approx. 15 Crore Sunni Sufi Muslims of India.

ü  The Board clearly affirms through this memorandum that the Sunni Sufi Muslims are true patriots, peace-loving, tolerant & stand pledged to the Constitution of India.

ü  We have always contributed towards the strengthening of the nation’s secular-democratic structure & its overall development.

ü  However, the religious-centers  & Waqf properties of the Sunni Sufis, nation-wide, are continuously being captured by the fundamentalist Wahabies, through their political connections & influence.

The AIUMB expects that the Govt. of India, The Central-Planning Commission, various State govts. & all other concerned institutions shall sincerely undertake all the necessary steps to fulfil the legitimate &     rightful demands of Indian Islamic Community, as have been raised by     the AIUMB in this memorandum, after having obtained the nationwide consensus of the Ulemas & the Sufi Scholars, & in the august presence of lakhs of patriotic Indian Muslims.

Virtues of Muharram or Ashura

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Chief of the Messengers, and upon all his family and companions.

Allah’s sacred month of Muharram is a blessed and important month. It is the first month of the Hijri calendar and is one of the four sacred months concerning which Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so it was ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein … “ [Al-Qur'an 9:36]

Abu Bakrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

“The year is twelve months of which four are sacred, the three consecutive months of Dhu’l-Qa’dah, Dhu’l-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab Mudar which comes between Jumada and Sha’ban.” [Reported by al-Bukhari, 2958]

Muharram is so called because it is a sacred (muharram) month and to confirm its sanctity.

Allah’s words: “… so wrong not yourselves therein … “ mean do not wrong yourselves in these sacred months, because sin in these months is worse than in other months. It was reported that Ibn ‘Abbas said that this phrase referred to all the months, then these four were singled out and made sacred, so that sin in these months is more serious and good deeds bring a greater reward.

Qutadah said concerning this phrase that wrongdoing during the sacred months is more serious and more sinful that wrongdoing at any other time. Wrongdoing at any time is a serious matter, but Allah gives more weight to whichever of His commands He will. Allah has chosen certain ones of His creation. He has chosen from among the angels Messengers and from among mankind Messengers. He chose from among speech the remembrance of Him (dhikr). He chose from among the earth the mosques, from among the months Ramadhan and the sacred months, from among the days Friday and from among the nights Laylat al-Qadr, so venerate that which Allah has told us to venerate. People of understanding and wisdom venerate the things that Allah has told us to venerate. [Summarized from the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy on him.]

THE VIRTUE OF OBSERVING MORE NAFIL FASTS DURING MUHARRAM

Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:

“The best fasting after Ramadhan is fasting Allah’s month of Muharram.” [Reported by Muslim, 1982]

The phrase “Allah’s month”, connecting the name of the month to the name of Allah in a genitive grammatical structure, signifies the importance of the month. Al-Qari said:

“The apparent meaning is all of the month of Muharram.”

But it was proven that the Prophet, peace be upon him, never fasted any whole month apart from Ramadhan, so this hadith is probably meant to encourage increasing one’s fasting during Muharram, without meaning that one should fast for the entire month.

It was reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to fast more in Sha’ban. It is likely that the virtue of Muharram was not revealed to him until the end of his life, before he was able to fast during this month. [Sharh an-Nawawi 'ala Sahih Muslim]

ALLAH CHOOSES WHATEVER TIMES AND PLACES HE WILLS

Al-’Izz ibn ‘Abdus-Salam, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

“Times and places may be given preferred status in two ways, either temporal or spiritual. With regard to the latter, this is because Allah bestows His generosity on His slaves at those times or in those places, by giving a greater reward for deeds done, such as giving a greater reward for fasting in Ramadhan than for fasting at all other times, and also on the day of ‘Ashura, the virtue of which is due to Allah’s generosity and kindness towards His slaves on that day … “ [Qawa'id al-Ahkam, 1/38]

‘ASHURA IN HISTORY

Ibn ‘Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, came to Madinah and saw the Jews fasting on the day of ‘Ashura. He asked:

“What is this?”

They said: “This is a righteous day, it is the day when Allah saved the Children of Israel from their enemies, so Musa fasted on this day.” He said:

“We have more right to Musa than you,” so he fasted on that day and commanded [the Muslims] to fast on that day. [Reported by al-Bukhari, 1865]

“This is a righteous day” – in a report narrated by Muslim, [the Jews said:] “This is a great day, on which Allah saved Musa and his people, and drowned Pharaoh and his people.”

“Musa fasted on this day” – a report narrated by Muslim adds: ” … in thanksgiving to Allah, so we fast on this day.”

According to a report narrated by al-Bukhari: ” … so we fast on this day to venerate it.”

A version narrated by Imam Ahmad adds: “This is the day on which the Ark settled on Mount Judi, so Nuh fasted this day in thanksgiving.”

” … and commanded [the Muslims] to fast on that day” – according to another report also narrated by al-Bukhari, he said to his Companions:

“You have more right to Musa than they do, so fast on that day.”

The practice of fasting on ‘Ashura was known even in the days of Jahiliyyah, before the Prophet’s mission. It was reported that ‘Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said:

“The people of Jahiliyyah used to fast on that day … “

Al-Qurtubi said:

“Perhaps the Quraysh used to fast on that day on the basis of some past law, such as that of Ibrahim, upon whom be peace.”

It was also reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to fast on ‘Ashura in Makkah, before he migrated to Madinah. When he migrated to Madinah, he found the Jews celebrating this day, so he asked them why, and they replied as described in the hadith quoted above. He commanded the Muslims to be different from the Jews, who took it as a festival, as was reported in the hadith of Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

“The Jews used to take the day of ‘Ashura as a festival [according to a report narrated by Muslim: the day of 'Ashura was venerated by the Jews, who took it as a festival. According to another report also narrated by Muslim: the people of Khaybar (the Jews) used to take it as a festival and their women would wear their jewellery and symbols on that day]. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

‘So you [Muslims] should fast on that day.’ ” [Reported by al-Bukhari]

Apparently the motive for commanding the Muslims to fast on this day was the desire to be different from the Jews, so that the Muslims would fast when the Jews did not, because people do not fast on a day of celebration. [Summarized from the words of al-Hafidh Ibn Hajar,may Allah have mercy on him, in Fath al-Bari)

Fasting on 'Ashura was a gradual step in the process of introducing fasting as a prescribed obligation in Islam. Fasting appeared in three forms. When the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, came to Madinah, he told the Muslims to fast on three days of every month and on the day of 'Ashura, then Allah made fasting obligatory when He said (interpretation of the meaning):

" ... observing the fasting is prescribed for you ... " [Al-Qur'an 2:183] [Ahkam al-Qur'an by al-Jassas, Part 1]

The obligation was transferred from the fast of ‘Ashura to the fast of Ramadhan, and this one of the proofs in the field of Usul ul-Fiqh that it is possible to abrogate a lighter duty in favour of a heavier duty.

Before the obligation of fasting ‘Ashura was abrogated, fasting on this day was obligatory, as can be seen from the clear command to observe this fast. Then it was further confirmed later on, then reaffirmed by making it a general command addressed to everybody, and once again by instructing mothers not to breastfeed their infants during this fast. It was reported from Ibn Mas’ud that when fasting Ramadhan was made obligatory, the obligation to fast ‘Ashura was lifted, i.e., it was no longer obligatory to fast on this day, but it is still desirable (mustahabb).

THE VIRTUES OF FASTING ‘ASHURA

Ibn ‘Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, said:

“I never saw the Messenger of Allah, upon whom be peace, so keen to fast any day and give it priority over any other than this day, the day of ‘Ashura, and this month, meaning Ramadhan.” [Reported by al-Bukhari, 1867]

The meaning of his being keen was that he intended to fast on that day in the hope of earning the reward for doing so.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

“For fasting the day of ‘Ashura, I hope that Allah will accept it as expiation for the year that went before.” [Reported by Muslim, 1976]

This is from the bounty of Allah towards us: for fasting one day He gives us expiation for the sins of a whole year. Indeed Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.

WHICH DAY IS ‘ASHURA?

An-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

“‘Ashura and Tasu’a are two elongated names [the vowels are elongated] as is stated in books on the Arabic language. Our companions said: ‘Ashura is the tenth day of Muharram and Tasu’a is the ninth day. This is our opinion, and that of the majority of scholars. This is the apparent meaning of the ahadith and is what we understand from the general wording. It is also what is usually understood by scholars of the language.” [Al-Majmu']

‘Ashura is an Islamic name that was not known at the time of Jahiliyyah. [Kashshaf al-Qina', Part 2: Sawm Muharram]

Ibn Qudamah, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

“‘Ashura is the tenth day of Muharram. This is the opinion of Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib and al-Hasan. It was what was reported by Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: ‘The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, commanded us to fast ‘Ashura, the tenth day of Muharram.’ [Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who graded it a sahih hasan hadith] It was reported that Ibn ‘Abbas said: ‘The ninth,’ and reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to fast the ninth. [Reported by Muslim] ‘Ata reported that he said, ‘Fast the ninth and the tenth, and do not be like the Jews.’ If this is understood, we can say on this basis that it is mustahabb (encouraged) to fast on the ninth and the tenth, for that reason. This is what Ahmad said, and it is the opinion of Ishaq.”

IT IS MUSTAHABB (ENCOURAGED) TO FAST TASU’A WITH ‘ASHURA

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, said:

“When the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, fasted on ‘Ashura and commanded the Muslims to fast as well, they said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, it is a day that is venerated by the Jews and Christians.’ The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said:

‘If I live to see the next year, insha’Allah, we will fast on the ninth day too.’

But it so happened that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, passed away before the next year came.” [Reported by Muslim, 1916]

Ash-Shafi’i and his companions, Ahmad, Ishaq and others said:

“It is mustahabb to fast on both the ninth and tenth days, because the Prophet, peace be upon him, fasted on the tenth, and intended to fast on the ninth.”

On this basis it may be said that there are varying degrees of fasting ‘Ashura, the least of which is to fast only on the tenth and the best of which is to fast the ninth as well. The more one fasts in Muharram, the better it is.

THE REASON WHY IT IS MUSTAHABB TO FAST ON TASU’A

An-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

“The scholars – our companions and others – mentioned several reasons why it is mustahabb to fast on Tasu’a:

– the intention behind it is to be different from the Jews, who only venerate the tenth day. This opinion was reported from Ibn ‘Abbas …

– the intention is to add another day’s fast to ‘Ashura. This is akin to the prohibition on fasting a Friday by itself, as was mentioned by al-Khattabi and others.

– To be on the safe side and make sure that one fasts on the tenth, in case there is some error in sighting the crescent moon at the beginning of Muharram and the ninth is in fact the tenth.”

 

Ibn Hajar, may Allah be pleased with him, said in his commentary on this hadith:

“What he meant by fasting on the ninth day was probably not that he would limit himself to that day, but would add it to the tenth, either to be on the safe side or to be different from the Jews and Christians, which is more likely. This is also what we can understand from some of the reports narrated by Muslim.” [Fath, 4/245]

RULING ON FASTING ONLY ON THE DAY OF ‘ASHURA

In Tuhfat al-Muhtaj by Ibn Hajar al-Haytami, it says:

“There is nothing wrong with fasting only on ‘Ashura.”

FASTING ON ‘ASHURA EVEN IF IT IS A SATURDAY OR A FRIDAY

At-Tahawi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

“The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, allowed us to fast on ‘Ashura and urged us to do so. He did not say that if it falls on a Saturday we should not fast. This is evidence that all days of the week are included in this. In our view – and Allah knows best – it could be the case that even if this is true (that it is not allowed to fast on Saturdays), it is so that we do not venerate this day and refrain from food, drink and intercourse, as the Jews do. As for the one who fasts on a Saturday without intending to venerate it, and does not do so because the Jews regard it as blessed, then this is not makruh … “ [Mushkil al-Athar]

The author of Al-Minhaj said:

“‘It is disliked (makruh) to fast on a Friday alone … ‘ But it is no longer makruh if you add another day to it, as mentioned in thesahih report to that effect. A person may fast on a Friday if it coincides with his habitual fast, or he is fasting in fulfilment of a vow, or he is making up an obligatory fast that he has missed, as was stated in a sahih report.”

Al-Sharih said in Tuhfat al-Muhtaj:

“‘If it coincides with his habitual fast’ – i.e., such as if he fasts alternate days, and a day that he fasts happens to be a Friday. ‘If he is fasting in fulfilment of a vow, etc.’ – this also applies to fasting on days prescribed in Shari’ah, such as ‘Ashura or ‘Arafah.”

Al-Bahuti, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

“It is makruh to deliberately single out a Saturday for fasting, because of the hadith of ‘Abdullah ibn Bishr, who reported from his sister: ‘Do not fast on Saturdays except in the case of obligatory fasts’ [Reported by Ahmad with a jayyid isnad and by al-Hakim, who said it was according to the conditions of al-Bukhari], and because it is a day that is venerated by the Jews, so singling it out for fasting means being like them … except when a Friday or Saturday coincides with a day when Muslims habitually fast, such as when it coincides with the day of ‘Arafah or the day of ‘Ashura, and a person has the habit of fasting on these days, in which case it is not makruh, because a person’s habit carries some weight.” [Kashshaf al-Qina']

WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IF THERE IS CONFUSION ABOUT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH?

Ahmad said:

“If there is confusion about the beginning of the month, one should fast for three days, to be sure of fasting on the ninth and tenth days.” (Al-Mughni of Ibn Qudamah]

If a person does not know when Muharram began, and he wants to be sure of fasting on the tenth, he should assume that Dhul-Hijjah was thirty days – as is the usual rule – and should fast on the ninth and tenth. Whoever wants to be sure of fasting the ninth as well should fast the eight, ninth and tenth (then if Dhul-Hijjah was twenty-nine days, he can be sure of having fasted Tasu’a and ‘Ashura).

But given that fasting on ‘Ashura is mustahabb rather than wajib, people are not commanded to look for the crescent of the new moon of Muharram as they are to do in the case of Ramadhan and Shawwal.

FASTING ‘ASHURA – FOR WHAT DOES IT OFFER EXPIATION?

Imam an-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

“It expiates for all minor sins, i.e., it brings forgiveness of all sins except major sins.”

Then he said:

“Fasting the day of ‘Arafah expiates for two years, and the day of ‘Ashura expiates for one year. If when a person says ‘amin‘ it coincides with the ‘amin‘ of the angels, he will be forgiven all his previous sins … Each one of the things that we have mentioned will bring expiation. If there are minor sins for which expiation is needed, expiation for them will be accepted; if there are no minor sins or major sins, good deeds will be added to his account and he will be raised in status… If he had committed major sins but no minor sins, we hope that his major sins will be reduced.” (Al-Majmu’ Sharh al-Muhadhdhab]

Ahle Sunnah top the list

Alhamdulillah  four Ahle Sunnah Scholars of India have been mentioned in the  list of most influential Muslims of the world  2011 by  Georgetown University.

Hazrat Akhtar Raza Khan Azhari Mian Qaudri  have been ranked top most in India and 28th in the  World  where as  Hazrat Syed Ameen Mian Qaudri, Shekh Aboobacker Ahmed and Allama Qamaruzzaman Khan Azmi have been mentioned with honour in the list.

Hazrat Mufti Akhtar Raza Khan is  Supreme Mufti of India and is known as Janasheen of Hazrat Mustafa Raza Khan Mufti-e-Azam. He is founder and patron of numerous educational and religious organization and educational institutions remarkable among them is JamiaturRaza College, situated at Bareilly Shareef,U.P. Famous for his piousness and Jurisprudence he is one of the greatest person alive in the Sunni world. He has millions of followers around the world known as Azhari Qaudri .

Sunnis  and a sajjada nashin, or Sufi disciple of the Barkatiya
Sufi tradition which stems from the Qadiriyyah tradition
of eminent Sufi master, ‘Abd al Qadir al Jilani (1077-1166 CE).

Aboobacker Musalyar is known for his expediency, which was not known among the Muslim scholars of Kerala. He is presently the General Secretary of All-India Sunni Jamiyyathul Ulama, the organisation Muslim scholars and clerics under A. P. Sunnis and Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama (Kanthapuram). Kanthapuram A. P. Aboobacker Musalyar is also the General Secretary and Principal of Karanthur Markaz, a charitable and educational institution in Karanthur, Calicut, Kerala. He was appointed as a member of the NAC for the implementation of the RTÉ act in 2010.

His Eminence Huzoor Muffakir-e-Islam Hazrat Allama Maulana Qamaruzzaman Azmiis the Khalifa of His Holiness Mufti-e-Azam Hazrat Maulana Mustafa Raza Khan, the holy son of Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Qadri Barelwi (May Allah shower his mercy upon them) as well as Sarkar-e-Kalaa’n Hazrat Maulana Sayyid Mohammed Mukhtar Ashraf, Sajjada Nasheen of Kichow-Chah Shareef (May Allah shower his mercy upon him).General secretary of World Islamic Mission, Allama is most famous Sunni speaker in the world  and is followed by millions of his followers in different countries.

His Eminence’s selfless missionary life spans nearly fifty-years. During this period, as the articles on this website highlight, he has helped to build many organisations and institutions all over the world such Mosques, colleges and universities in America, Canada, Holland, Germany, Norway, Belgium and India. Each institution is helping to make a difference to hundreds of lives throughout the world. For example, Al-Jamiatul Islamia in Raunahi alone saw four hundred Ulemas graduate in 2011.
